  • Publication number: 20250135437
Abstract: A method for fabricating a layered sorbent film is disclosed. The method includes forming a first sorbent layer by adhering a particulate sorbent material to a first adhesive surface of an adhesive film, the adhesive film further including a second adhesive surface coupled to a sacrificial liner. The method also includes removing the sacrificial liner from the adhesive film by exposure to a release medium, uncovering the second adhesive surface, and then forming a second sorbent layer by adhering the particulate sorbent material to the uncovered second adhesive surface. The method may also include separating a first release liner from the first adhesive surface of the adhesive film, uncovering the first adhesive surface. The sacrificial liner may be sufficiently rigid that while the sacrificial liner is coupled to the second adhesive surface, the first release liner may be removed from the adhesive film without causing mechanical damage.

  • Publication number: 20250115439
Abstract: A transport apparatus comprises a frame, a conveyor, a loading unit and a product transfer device. A first product detector detects a free location at the conveyor, a second product detector detects a product at the loading unit. A controller is configured such that when the first product detector detects a free location and the second product detector detects a product the product transfer device transfers the product from the loading unit to the free location. The loading unit comprises a platform mounted to the frame above the conveyor and tiltable with respect to the frame about an axis of rotation (AR) between a lying product receiving position and a downwardly directed product releasing position, which axis of rotation (AR) is angled with respect to the direction of conveyance. • Patent number: 12214330
Abstract: An enhanced capture structure is disclosed, including a sorbent structure having a CO2 sorbent material. The capture structure also includes a plurality of barriers extending outward from the sorbent structure, each sized and positioned such that as an airflow passes along the sorbent structure, a high pressure region forms proximate the sorbent structure on a first side of the barrier facing into the airflow and a low pressure region forms proximate the sorbent structure on a second side of the barrier facing away from the airflow. The barriers on one side of the sorbent structure are staggered with respect to barriers on the other side such that a plurality of high and low pressure regions are formed, each high pressure region being formed opposite a low pressure region on the other side of the structure, creating a pressure differential that promotes CO2 mass transfer into the sorbent material via convection.

  • Patent number: 11985239
Abstract: Transport Layer Security (TLS) connection establishment between a client and a server for a new session is enabled using an ephemeral (temporary) key pair. In response to a request, the server generates a temporary certificate by signing an ephemeral public key using the server's private key. A certificate chain comprising at least the temporary certificate that includes the ephemeral public key, together with a server certificate, is output to the client by the server, which acts as a subordinate Certificate Authority. The client validates the certificates, generates a session key and outputs the session key wrapped by the ephemeral public key. To complete the connection establishment, the server applies the ephemeral private key to recover the session key derived at the client for the new session. The client and server thereafter use the session key to encrypt and decrypt data over the link. The ephemeral key pair is not reused.
