    Abstract: A method of auctioning contact with prospective customers. A user profile associated with a prospective customer and use of proxy information to establish a communication channel by which the prospective customer may be contacted is auctioned to a plurality of bidders and, upon receiving bids, a group of winning bidders is determined. The winning bidders purchase the use of a communication medium to contact the prospective customer using proxy information which allows the prospective customers to remain anonymous.
