  • Patent number: 11980123
Abstract: A trailing arm assembly includes a frame bracket, a first frame, a parallel linkage, an adjustable biasing member, and a second frame. The frame bracket can include a first connection portion and a second connection portion. The parallel linkage pivotably connects the frame bracket and the first frame via a first pivot and a second pivot on the second connection portion of the frame bracket and a third pivot and a fourth pivot on the first frame. The adjustable biasing member pivotably connects to the frame bracket at a first end and pivotably connected to the parallel linkage at a second end, wherein the adjustable biasing member is configured to provide a downward force on the first frame. The second frame is connected to the first frame via a second parallel linkage.

  • Publication number: 20240066491
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a continuous flow process for preparing conducting polymers, for example polyaniline. The continuous flow process can provide a controlled synthesis of a conducting polymer from an emulsion comprising a polymerizable organic monomer and a free radical initiator in flow within a temperature controlled continuous flow reactor comprising at least one mixing element. The present disclosure also relates to the conducting polymers prepared by the continuous flow process.

  • Publication number: 20240032456
Abstract: Provided herein is a trailing arm assembly that includes a frame bracket attachable to a planter towing frame, a first frame, and a four bar parallel linkage connecting the frame bracket and the first frame with a first pivot and a second pivot on the frame bracket and a first pivot and a second pivot on the first frame. The trailing arm assembly also includes an adjustable biasing member extending from the parallel linkage to the frame bracket. The parallel linkage is connected between the first frame and the frame bracket such that the parallel linkage maintains a parallel orientation of the first frame. The adjustable biasing member is adjustably connected to a portion of the parallel linkage.

  • Patent number: 11596094
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a device that allows a tire to adequately clean a soil cutting disc, maintains the critical seed planting depth, or prevents (1) punctures, (2) soil compaction, (3) premature wear, (4) tire readjustment, (5) operational problems, (6) rough surfaces that fill with mud and debris, and (7) tire removal to clean the gauge wheel or remove buildup. The present invention also provides a device with a gauge wheel for controlling the depth of a furrow created by a soil cutting disk that has one or more of these features. More specifically, the present invention comprises a gauge wheel assembly for farming with a centrally positioned hub, a plurality of spokes extending from the hub to at least one ground contacting finger that extend to an inner circular ring around the circumference.

  • Publication number: 20220071084
Abstract: A novel seed metering device which accommodates a large diversity of seed types and sizes by utilizing a rotating two crevice helical pattern in which individual seeds are channeled around two opposing rotors and dispensed singularly or volumetrically based on desired outcome. The two opposing rotors, each with a half set of creviced helical patterns, are adjustable to open and close in order to accommodate seed size and type. When the rotors are adjusted all the way in, the primary crevice is closed and the secondary crevice remains open for the smaller seed sizes to pass through and evenly dispense. As the rotors are adjusted out away from each other, incremental increases can be achieved in order to find the ideal crevice width to accommodate the seed diameter for singular or even disbursement.
