  • Publication number: 20250087691
Abstract: Stability to long term charge and discharge cycles is the most formidable challenge for Lithium-Sulfur batteries. Therefore, a more holistic design of a durable cathode with minimal polysulfide escape to mitigate the corrosion of the lithium anode is required. A saccharide-based binder system—the monosaccharide (glucose) component, on account of being a strong reducing agent has a unique capacity for the regulation of polysulfide thereby dramatically enhancing the functionality of a polysaccharide (carboxymethyl cellulose) binder system. The two-component binder system promotes the formation of viscoelastic filaments during casting which endows sulfur cathode a desired web-like microstructure. The combination of these effects leads to 97% sulfur utilisation with an ultra-long cycle life of 1000 cycles (9 months) and a high capacity retention (around 700 mAhg?1 after 1000 cycles). A pouch cell prototype with a capacity of 1200 mAhg?1 demonstrates a promising transition from laboratory to manufacturing options.

  • Patent number: 12235971
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated historical risk assessment for risk mitigation in online access control are provided. An entity assessment server can receive a request to assess a risk indicator change from a first risk indicator to a second risk indicator. For each attribute used to generate the first risk indicator and second risk indicator, a first impact can be determined for changing from the first risk indicator to a third risk indicator between the first risk indicator and the second risk indicator. A second impact similarly can be determined for changing from the third risk indicator to the second risk indicator. Aggregating the first impact and the second impact can determine a total impact of each attribute. Assessment results can be generated to include a list of attributes ordered according to the respective total impact and transmitted to a remote computing device for use in improving the risk indicator.

  • Patent number: 12202032
Abstract: An iron-type golf club head with a cavity formed via a multi-stage forging process. The forged iron-type golf club head is formed from a single billet of material. An intermediate step of the multi-stage forging process creates a cavity in the iron-type golf club head which can receive an insert. The resultant iron-type golf club head has a substantially lower center of gravity and higher moment of inertia when compared to a traditionally forged iron-type golf club head lacking a cavity. Additionally, the resultant iron-type golf club head has a more solid feel than a traditionally cast iron-type golf club head as a result of the tighter grain structure the forging process yields.

  • Patent number: 12204422
Abstract: Control logic in a memory device executes a programming operation to program the set of memory blocks of the set of memory planes to a set of a programming levels. In response to determining at least a portion of a first memory block passed a program verify operation associated with a last programming level of the set of programming levels, the control logic executes a first program sub-operation to terminate the programming operation with respect to a first subset of one or more memory planes of the set of memory planes that passed the program verify operation associated with the last programming level and identify a second subset of one or more memory planes that failed the program verify operation associated with the last programming level. The control logic executes a second program sub-operation to apply a trim set to the second subset of one or more memory planes that failed the program verify operation of the last programming level.
