  • Publication number: 20250109619
Abstract: A door handle assembly comprises a handle and a release plate in mechanical communication with the handle such that actuation of the handle causes rotation of the release plate. The release plate defines a window configured to (i) receive a projection of a trip lever of a door latch assembly of a door such that rotation of the release plate causes rotation of the trip lever to facilitate rotation of a rotor of the door latch assembly to a disengaged position and (ii) receive and secure a door linkage rod assembly comprising a linkage rod that is connectable to a trip lever of a door latch assembly of a door such that rotation of the release plate causes actuation of the linkage rod to rotate the trip lever to facilitation rotation of a rotor of the door latch assembly to a disengaged position.

  • Publication number: 20250109617
Abstract: A door handle assembly comprises (i) a lock actuator configured to actuate between an unlocked position and a locked position and (ii) one or more linkage bars in mechanical communication with and extending from the lock actuator. The linkage bar(s) comprise (i) a first engagement member configured to engage with a handle locking bolt such that actuation of the lock actuator causes actuation of the handle locking bolt between an unlocked position and a locked position, and (ii) a second engagement member configured to engage with a deadbolt such that actuation of the lock actuator causes actuation of the deadbolt between an unlocked position and a locked position, wherein, when in the locked position, the deadbolt is configured to engage with a mortice to prevent opening of a door to which the door handle assembly is affixed.

  • Patent number: 9442540
Abstract: A multi-node computer system, comprising: a plurality of nodes, a system control unit and a carrier board. Each node of the plurality of nodes comprises a processor and a memory. The system control unit is responsible for: power management, cooling, workload provisioning, native storage servicing, and I/O. The carrier board comprises a system fabric and a plurality of electrical connections. The electrical connections provide the plurality of nodes with power, management controls, system connectivity between the system control unit and the plurality of nodes, and an external network connection to a user infrastructure. The system control unit and the carrier board provide integrated, shared resources for the plurality of nodes. The multi-node computer system is provided in a single enclosure.

  • Publication number: 20020030581
Abstract: A biometric authentication device for use with a data card such as an optical card, a memory chip card, or a smart card. The biometric device includes a fingerprint module having a fingerprint sensor for capturing a user's fingerprint placed onto the fingerprint sensor. The biometric device includes a portion adapted to receive and read a card containing optical or electronic fingerprint information. The biometric device includes processing capabilities to determine a match between data from the user's fingerprint captured from the fingerprint sensor and the electronic fingerprint data stored on the optical or smart card. Determination of the match between the captured fingerprint data and the electronic fingerprint data enables biometric verification of identification of the end user. The biometric device is useful in time and attendance, access and control, as well as user identification and verification applications.

  • Publication number: 20020030582
Abstract: A biometric network for use in time and attendance applications is disclosed. The system includes at least one biometric device which is capable of identifying a user and generating data related to the user. The biometric device compares live biometric data, for example, fingerprint data, with stored biometric data, such as on an optical data card, memory card, smart card, or other biometric storage device. The invention includes a central data center which communicates with the biometric devices and receives the generated data transmitted from the biometric devices. The devices may be connected to the central data center via serial connection, wireless connection, modem, ethernet or the Internet. The generated data may relate to the attendance of the user at a particular location, the timing of particular events, such as entrance and exiting time, check-in times, or other time-stamp requirements.
