  • Patent number: 10878503
Abstract: A method includes determining a plurality of complexity scores. Each of the plurality of complexity scores corresponds to a particular underlying component of a plurality of underlying components of a portfolio. The complexity score of the particular underlying component is based on a complexity rating of the particular underlying component and a contribution level of the particular underlying component to the portfolio. The method also includes determining a complexity score of the portfolio based on the plurality of complexity scores of the plurality of underlying components.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 7, 2014
Date of Patent: December 29, 2020
    Assignee: Ameriprise Financial, Inc.
Inventors: Kurt J. Merkle, Justin E. Bell, Matthew Huss

  • Publication number: 20010012555
Abstract: An improved method for texturing gypsum fiber panels and producing surface textured panels, edge tapers, and deeper patterned wainscot-type panels, involving the use of a flexible die with a textured surface. The die is pressed onto the panel in its slurry state just after the onset of an exothermic rehydration reaction. Partial hydration and setting occur during pressing by the die to form a textured mat. The mat is removed from contact with the die at a point along the rehydration temperature curve about at or less than one-half of the rise to the greatest rehydration temperature.
    Type: Application
    Filed: January 4, 2001
    Publication date: August 9, 2001
