  • Patent number: 11938932
Abstract: Systems and methods for self-driving collision prevention are presented. The system comprises a self-driving vehicle safety system, having one or more sensors in communication with a control system. The control system is configured determine safety fields and instruct the sensors to scan a region corresponding to the safety fields. The control system determines exclusion regions, and omits the exclusion regions from the safety field. The safety system may also include capability reduction parameters that can be used to constrain the drive system of the vehicle, for example, by restricting turning radius and speed in accordance with the safety fields.

  • Publication number: 20240055319
Abstract: A circuit package with improved thermal management is disclosed. In one aspect, a ceramic insert is provided within a package having heat-producing circuitry thereon. The ceramic insert replaces traditional laminate inserts and provides a better thermal path to remove heat from leads and/or traces within the package. More particularly, the ceramic insert more readily transfers and/or dissipates heat that might otherwise accumulate at an output port where a solder junction may be made to couple the output port to external elements.

  • Patent number: 9524272
Abstract: In any context where a user can view multiple different content items, switching among content items is provided using an array mode. In a full-frame mode, one content item is visible and active, but other content items may also be open. In response to user input the display can be switched to an array mode, in which all of the content items are visible in a scrollable array. Selecting a content item in array mode can result in the display returning to the full-frame mode, with the selected content item becoming visible and active. Smoothly animated transitions between the full-frame and array modes and a gesture-based interface for controlling the transitions can also be provided.

  • Publication number: 20130328917
Abstract: A tablet device includes a display configured to present visual content, a sensor array configured to detect a status of a foldable flap in relation to the display, and a processor configured to operate the tablet device in accordance with the determined status of the foldable flap in relation to the display. In one embodiment, the processor receives a setting value and uses the setting value to execute an application in accordance with the determined relationship of the flap and the display.
