Patent number: 10372583Abstract: In an approach to providing completion support and on demand validation in a web tool that operates on live resources, one or more computer processors create one or more lists of content, where the one or more lists of content include one or more references to one or more runtime objects. The one or more computer processors parse the one or more lists of content. The one or more computer processors populate one or more lists of one or more choices with the parsed one or more lists of content. The one or more computer processors create one or more callbacks for one or more runtime objects referenced by the one or more lists of one or more choices.Type: GrantFiled: May 9, 2018Date of Patent: August 6, 2019Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Matthew J. Clarke, Doina L. Klinger

Patent number: 10086269Abstract: A wireless controller for a video game playing device includes electrically conductive contacts on portions of the surface of the controller positioned so that a first contact is contactable by one hand of the user and a second contact is contactable by the other hand of the user during operation of the controller. Electrical circuitry applies a voltage between the first contact and the second contact so that when the one hand contacts the first contact and the other hand contacts the second contact an electrical current flows through the user's body completing an electrical circuit. Further electrical circuitry enables power supply to the controller electronic control circuitry responsive to completion of the electrical circuit, and disables electrical power supply to the controller electronic control circuitry responsive to breaking of the electrical circuit.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2015Date of Patent: October 2, 2018Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Matthew J. Clarke, Adam Coulthard, Mark J. Lawrence, Heather Pollard

Patent number: 7789060Abstract: A gasket (122) includes a first plurality of cylinder openings (402) arranged to correspond, one each, to a corresponding first plurality of cylinder bores (106) formed in a crankcase (102) of an internal combustion engine (100). A second plurality of coolant openings (404) and a third plurality of oil openings (406) are formed in a substrate sheet of material that makes up the gasket (122). A fourth plurality of pushrod openings (408) is formed in the substrate material of the gasket (122). Each of the fourth plurality of pushrod openings (408) includes a pass through portion (302) that has a semicircular shape with an internal diameter, D, and an alignment portion (304) that has a semicircular shape with an internal diameter, d. The diameter d is smaller than the diameter D. The pass-through portion (304) is located adjacent to the alignment portion (302).Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2007Date of Patent: September 7, 2010Assignee: International Engine Intellectual Property Company, LLCInventors: Courtney T.
