  • Patent number: 6662968
Abstract: A product dispenser of the type adapted to release articles from vertical stacks is disclosed, which is configured to dispense a variety of articles whether in bulk or singularly. The present vending apparatus provides a main housing that is configured to receive interchangeable release mechanisms, with each mechanism dependent upon whether the dispensed article(s) is generally flat or of the small round type distributed by bulk similar to candies. The bottom surface of the product compartment defined on the top of main housing is configured to allow variability in the type of products released from the vertically mounted product cartridge.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6247611
Abstract: A vending apparatus for containing and releasing generally box-shaped or flat articles is disclosed. The articles are vertically stacked in a pre-packaged cartridge that removably mounts on top of a fixed housing. The main housing collects coins to account for purchases of each product independently, which is released by a rotating cam after the turning of a knob. A securable door allows limited access to the coin collecting box.

  • Patent number: 5960782
Abstract: An outdoor grill is provided that has a base which houses an interior firebox and a cooking surface located above the firebox. The base has a grill top pivotally coupled thereto above the cooking surface. The grill top has an inner wall mounted within its interior which extends upwardly and rearwardly. The grill top has a rear wall that has a vent which is located below the intersection of the inner wall and the rear wall. Hot air rising from the firebox is directed rearwardly and upwardly by the inner wall and exits the grill top through the vent. The top surface of the grill top is thus insulated from the hot air by the inner wall and the vent. A second vent may be provided in the front wall of the grill top, which allows fresh air to flow rearwardly and upwardly above the inner wall. The air is allowed to exit the grill top through a chimney formed in the grill top near the rear of the top.

  • Patent number: 5060439
Abstract: Expansion joint cover assemblies are disclosed which are structured and dimensioned for use in covering expansion joints or spaces between adjacent structural sections of a building such as spaced floors or floor and wall sections. The assemblies include base members adapted to be positioned and secured to the adjacent structural sections and a leaf spring cover member fixedly interconnected to one of the base members at one end and bridging the expansion joint or space between the structural sections in a cantilever manner such that the cover member lies in a plane essentially flush with the floor section or sections and is structured and dimensioned to be slidably interconnected with the other base member to provide a secure, functionally effective and aesthetically pleasing assembly for accommodating translational relative movement of the structural sections.
