Patent number: 11697867Abstract: An essentially lead free steel having improved machinability while reducing or eliminating lead (except for trace impurities) and without detriment of the material properties of the steel. The properties of the lead free steel are dependent on both the composition and method of manufacture. The improved lead free steel has, in percent by weight (wt-%): Carbon: 0.39-0.43%; Manganese: 0.75-1.00%; Silicon: 0.15-0.35%; Chromium: 0.80-1.05%; Molybdenum: 0.15-0.25%; at least one of Tellurium: 0.003-0.090 wt-%, Selenium: 0.080-0.2 wt-%, Sulfur: 0.065-0.09% wt-%, and Bismuth: 0.03-0.1 wt-%; and the balance being Fe and normally occurring scrap steel impurities. The hot-rolled lead-free steel product is subjected to a heat treatment at a first temperature for a first duration, at a second temperature for a second duration that is less than the first temperature, at a third temperature for a third time period that is greater than the second temperature, and subsequently cooling the steel product.Type: GrantFiled: September 2, 2019Date of Patent: July 11, 2023Assignee: NUCOR CORPORATIONInventors: Matthew J. Patent number: 9130937Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes receiving a message at a first network interface of a first node. The first network interface communicates with a first network while a second network interface communicates with a second network. The method includes determining a set of expected tokens and an expected order of tokens. A plurality of tokens are accessed that were generated for the message, each of the plurality of tokens associated with a policy service of a plurality of policy services. The method includes generating a plurality of decrypted tokens from the plurality of tokens using a first parameter associated with the plurality of policy services and validating the decrypted tokens by comparing the decrypted tokens to the set of expected tokens. In response to validating the decrypted tokens and determining that the decrypted tokens are in the expected order, an approval is generated.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2011Date of Patent: September 8, 2015Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventors: Jason E. Ostermann, Teresa M. Bieda, Matthew J. Hicks, Alan T. Huch, Richard J. Ernst, Shelli J. Richard

Patent number: 8838951Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes accessing a template, the template comprising a plurality of static portions and a plurality of dynamic portions. A first set of parameters associated with a first node are accessed. The method includes generating a first set of instructions that configure a device to communicate with the first node. The first set of instructions includes the static portions and the first set of parameters. The first set of parameters are arranged according to the plurality of dynamic portions. A second set of parameters associated with a second node are accessed. The method includes generating a second set of instructions that include the static portions and the second set of parameters. The second set of parameters are arranged according to the plurality of dynamic portions. The first set of instructions and the second set of instructions include Business Process Execution Language.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2011Date of Patent: September 16, 2014Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventors: Matthew J. Patent number: 8719306Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system, and program product for managing adapter association for a data graph of data objects. Specifically, under the present invention, a data graph of data objects is generated (e.g., on a server), and then serialized. In performing the serialization, the data graph is translated into bits. In one embodiment, the bits are communicated to a client over a network, and then translated back into the data graph (i.e., deserialized). An adapter is associated with each of the data objects after the data graph is deserialized. This avoids the “overhead” involved with associating and having active adapters during deserialization.Type: GrantFiled: January 22, 2013Date of Patent: May 6, 2014Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Ritchard L. Schacher, Matthew J. Hicks, Eduardus A. T. Merks

Patent number: 8640189Abstract: In certain embodiments, a method includes receiving from a validation system a request to apply a first policy service to a message. The validation system determines whether the message may be transmitted to a second network by validating a plurality of tokens associated with the message. The method includes receiving at least one result from a policy service engine of applying the first policy service to the message and determining at least one predefined assertion based on the received at least one result. The message includes generating a first token by encrypting the at least one predefined assertion using a first parameter associated with the first service node and not the second service node. The method includes sending the message and the first token to the validation system.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2011Date of Patent: January 28, 2014Assignee: Raytheon CompanyInventors: Richard J. Publication number: 20070283034Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system, and program product to support data streaming in service data object (SDO) graphs. Specifically, under the present invention, the method includes attaching a binary object stream to a SDO graph; streaming the binary object to a repository; and also streaming the SDO graph to the repository. A system, program product stored on a computer readable medium, and method for deploying an application for providing data streaming in SDO graphs is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 31, 2006Publication date: December 6, 2007Inventors: Adam R. Publication number: 20070282863Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system, and program product for providing proxies for data objects such as SDOs. Specifically, under the present invention, a reference between two data objects is identified. The two data objects could reside in different data graphs, or they could reside in separate branches of a common data graph. In any event, a reference object will be inserter/provided into the branch or data graph containing the reference. The reference object is typically inserted at runtime of an application utilizing the data graph(s), and functions as a proxy for the reference. To this extent, the reference object could be an instance of the data object being referenced, or the reference itself.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2006Publication date: December 6, 2007Inventors: Ritchard L. Schacher, Adam R. Clarke, Matthew J. Hicks, Joseph J. Kubik
