  • Patent number: 11980150
Abstract: A novel maize variety designated X80P537 and seed, plants and plant parts thereof are produced by crossing inbred maize varieties. Methods for producing a maize plant by crossing hybrid maize variety X80P537 with another maize plant are disclosed. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into X80P537 through backcrossing or genetic transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby are described. Maize variety X80P537, the seed, the plant produced from the seed, and variants, mutants, and minor modifications of maize variety X80P537 are provided. Methods for producing maize varieties derived from maize variety X80P537 and methods of using maize variety X80P537 are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11965511
Abstract: A bellows motor expansion chamber for electric submersible pumps (ESP). An ESP assembly includes an electric submersible motor between a thrust chamber and a motor expansion chamber, the motor expansion chamber including a bellows coupled to a releasable bellows anti-movement system including a heat-activated release and alterable between an immobilizing position, wherein the releasable anti-movement system prevents concertinaed movement of the bellows in the immobilizing position, and a released position, wherein the bellows is concertinaedly moveable in the released position, and wherein the releasable bellows anti-movement system is in the immobilizing position below a release temperature and in the released position above the release temperature. A filter section within a well fluid inlet of the bellows motor expansion chamber includes a least two concentric filters of varying porosity, and a housing surrounding the filters including angled ribs and flow holes.

  • Patent number: 8770629
Abstract: A hose end coupling comprising a unitary one-piece stem having an exterior barb end portion and an exterior ferrule interface portion, with a unitary one-piece radially crushable ferrule disposed over the stein, with a crushable socket portion disposed about the barb end portion, a deformable attachment portion disposed about the ferrule interface portion, and a torque communication portion defined between the socket portion and the attachment portion. The socket portion may retain a “C” shaped insert, one or more coiled inserts, or a plurality of stacked inserts, for gripping a hose end and the socket portion might define a lip, with a seal disposed in the socket portion between the insert(s) and the lip. Some embodiments of a “C” shaped insert define inner-circumferential teeth and corresponding outer-circumferential depression indentions.

  • Publication number: 20120186684
Abstract: A multi-layer flexible hose with at least one vulcanized elastomer layer and an outermost cover layer of a thermoplastic polyurethane strip that is wrapped and thermally fused to form a continuous layer. The wrapping may be helical or longitudinal. The polyurethane includes a high hardness, a softening point at or below the vulcanization temperature, and an intumescent flame retarding additive stable at the vulcanization temperature. The polyurethane cover adheres to the elastomer layer and contributes to the flame resistance required by API 16D or of Lloyd's Register Fire Tests for Flexible Hoses on Offshore Installations OD/1000/499 rev. 1.
