  • Patent number: 11537278
Abstract: The technology herein involves accessing content of an electronic document and a shared layout for the electronic document, wherein the shared layout provides a layout for user devices having different dimensions of display areas; rendering the content of the electronic document onto a primary rendering surface and a secondary rendering surface, wherein the primary rendering surface is associated with a native platform of a user device and the secondary rendering surface is associated with the shared layout of a server; applying operation commands to modify the primary rendering surface, the operation commands resulting from a user interaction with the electronic document; merging the operation commands into a merged operation call; and invoking the merged operation call to modify the secondary rendering surface, wherein the merged operation call reduces a number of operation calls that modify the secondary rendering surface and is shared with the server to modify the shared layout.

  • Publication number: 20200373700
Abstract: A connector For wires to be connected in harsh environment applications. This approach uses low pressure casting techniques. An alternative embodiment uses a thin, rigid stabilizer to position one or more contacts inside of the connector shell. Foamed polyurethane is injected inside the connector shell in liquid form. This encapsulates the stabilizer (when used) and forms an insulator around the contacts and wires. The polyurethane is bonded to the inside of the connector shell. The bonding strength of the polyurethane will form an environmental seal suitable for harsh environmental applications. In some cases a primer may be pre-applied to the inside of the connector shell the contacts, the wires, or the stabilizer to enhance the bonding of the polyurethane.

  • Patent number: 10450846
Abstract: A hybrid push and pull method for expanding a tubular in a wellbore utilizes an expansion assembly with a sealed and another, optionally expandable, cone, wherein during at least part of the expansion process the sealed cone is moved up through the tubular by a combination of push and pull forces and the push force is generated by pumping fluid at an elevated pressure into a space between the bottom plug and the expansion assembly. This allows staged expansion of the tubular in a hard rock formation and/or of a tubular surrounded by a hardened cement lining and/or of a pair of partially overlapping nested tubular ends.

  • Patent number: 10279435
Abstract: The exposed metal tip of the strike end of an SMAW welding electrode is covered with a protective coating formed from a binder and metal particles. Because metal particles rather than graphite particles are used to provide electrical conductivity to this protective coating, flare-up of the arc when initially struck is eliminated substantially completely. In addition, the potential for weld porosity problems is also eliminated, because the metal particles of the inventive electrode do not produce CO2 as a reaction by-product which can ultimately lead to improper welding technique.

  • Patent number: 10277690
Abstract: Systems and methods for conducting a sign-up process according to configuration data are presented. As indicated, the sign-up process is driven by configuration data, typically though not exclusively contained in an accessible configuration file, to conduct a sign-up process. According to the configuration data, the sign-up process utilizing the base set of executable code may conduct a sign-up process that includes presentation of data according to thematic elements, control the ordering of data aggregation and presentation, provide conditional branching among configuration items/instructions based on a variety of factors including user-provided input, validation of sign-up information including third-party validation of sign-up information, nesting sign-up processes, access to remotely located information, and external execution of functionality from or by external third-party services.

  • Patent number: 10148665
Abstract: A provider of a subscription-based online service provides use of the online service to an end-user of an organization. A tenant account request is received from an administrator of the organization to establish a tenant account and authorize the end-user to acquire a subscription for the end-user to use the online service directly from the provider thereof. A subscription request is then received from the end-user to acquire the subscription for the end-user to use the online service. An individual license to use the online service is then assigned to the end-user, where this license allows just the end-user to access and use the online service. This individual license is then provided to the end-user.
