  • Patent number: 11250851
Abstract: A system and method for temporarily disabling keyword detection to avoid detection of machine-generated keywords. A local device may operate two keyword detectors. The first keyword detector operates on input audio data received by a microphone to capture keywords uttered by a user. In these instances, the keyword may be detected by the first detector and the audio data may be transmitted to a remote device for processing. The remote device may generate output audio data to be sent to the local device. The local device may process the output audio data to determine that it also includes the keyword. The device may then disable the first keyword detector while the output audio data is played back by an audio speaker of the local device. Thus the local device may avoid detection of a keyword originating from the output audio. The first keyword detector may be reactivated after a time interval during which the keyword might be detectable in the output audio.

  • Patent number: 11243677
Abstract: A graphical display configuration system of a process control system provides features within the configuration environment that allow a user to create, define, edit, and easily preview the runtime appearance and/or runtime behavior of graphical elements and/or graphical displays in-line with the configuration workflow of the user, without having to compile and/or download draft graphical configurations into the operating environment of a process plant supported by the process control system, and/or without requiring specialized scripts to be implemented within the operating environment of the process plant. Previews of runtime appearances and/or runtime behaviors of draft configurations of graphical elements and/or graphical displays (that are eventually to be executed within the operating environment of the process control system) are able to generated and presented exclusively within the configuration environment, e.g., for testing and/or verification.

  • Patent number: 11242144
Abstract: A technique is introduced for autonomous landing by an aerial vehicle. In some embodiments, the introduced technique includes processing a sensor data such as images captured by onboard cameras to generate a ground map comprising multiple cells. A suitable footprint, comprising a subset of the multiple cells in the ground map that satisfy one or more landing criteria, is selected and control commands are generated to cause the aerial vehicle to autonomously land on an area corresponding to the footprint. In some embodiments, the introduced technique involves a geometric smart landing process to select a relatively flat area on the ground for landing. In some embodiments, the introduced technique involves a semantic smart landing process where semantic information regarding detected objects is incorporated into the ground map.

  • Patent number: 11208524
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides an anionic/non-ionic water based polymer comprising polyurethane and polyurea. The polymer is approximately 30 to 40 weight percent non-volatile and has a viscosity of between approximately 1400 and 1500 cps. Also provided is a method for producing an anion/non-ionic water based polyurethane/polyurea polymer, the method comprising heating dimethylolpropionic acid; combining the dimethylolproprionic acid with heated PEG to create a slurry; adding isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) to the slurry to create a mixture; and heating the mixture in the presence of a catalyst. The prepolymer is then salted out after catalyst is added and reaction complete. This salted prepolymer is then added to ethylene diamine in water to chain extend and promote water solubility. Also provided is a film comprising the polymer.
