  • Patent number: 11980179
Abstract: A rodent bait station comprises a housing defining at least one entrance, a bait holding area arranged within the housing for storing a quantity of rodent bait for consumption, and an electronics assembly. The electronics assembly includes a capacitor arranged proximate the bait holding area and having a characteristic capacitance indicative of the quantity of bait in the bait holding area, and a controller for measuring the characteristic capacitance of the capacitor. A processor of the electronics assembly estimates a quantity of bait in the bait holding area according to the measured characteristic capacitance, and transmits via a transmitter a wireless signal indicative of one of the measured characteristic capacitance or the estimated quantity of bait in the bait holding area.

  • Publication number: 20240068913
Abstract: An example extraction system includes a main body having a collar coupler for coupling to a pierceable portion of a container such that the first channel is in fluid communication with the pierceable portion when the container is coupled to the coupler, where the second body end defines a second channel extending such that the second channel is in fluid communication with the first channel; and a piston defining a piston channel extending from the first piston end to the second piston end, the piston including a hollow needle fluid communication with the piston channel, where the piston is slidably disposable within the second channel such that the hollow needle of the piston can extend through the first channel to pierce the pierceable portion of the container such that the container is in fluid communication through the hollow needle, the piston channel, and the second channel.

  • Publication number: 20210176980
Abstract: A system for controlling a shock output of an electronic animal trap includes a battery, a transformer having a primary coil connected to the battery, and a controller connected to the battery and the primary coil. The controller has a shock cycle module determining a battery capacity of the battery and determining a shock enable time based on the battery capacity. The shock cycle module controls a primary current from the battery to run through the primary coil for the shock enable time.
