  • Publication number: 20240174035
Abstract: A vehicle includes a frame, a hitch coupled to the frame, a cylinder positioned to move the hitch relative to the frame, the cylinder having a first chamber and a second chamber, and a fluid system fluidly coupled to the cylinder. The fluid system includes an action select valve reconfigurable between a single-acting configuration and a double-acting configuration. The fluid system is configured to supply a fluid to the first chamber to raise the hitch. When the action select valve is in the double-acting configuration, the fluid system controls the cylinder to lower the hitch by draining the fluid from the first chamber and supplying the fluid to the second chamber. When the action select valve is in the single-acting configuration, the fluid system controls the cylinder to lower the hitch by draining the fluid from the first chamber without supplying the fluid to the second chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240175452
Abstract: A fluid system includes a reservoir having a first reservoir chamber and a second reservoir chamber separated by a movable barrier, the first reservoir chamber being configured to contain a working fluid. The fluid system includes a piston housing defining an internal volume and a piston movable within the internal volume, the piston separating the internal volume into a first piston chamber and a second piston chamber, the second piston chamber being fluidly coupled to the second reservoir chamber. The fluid system includes a fluid supply configured to provide a control fluid to the first piston chamber.

  • Patent number: 11971029
Abstract: A system (100) for testing an agricultural implement includes a frame (106) configured to receive a device (104) to be tested. The frame carries a filter (108), a pump (112), a pressure relief valve (116) in fluid communication with the pump outlet, a frame output tube (122) to deliver the flow of fluid from the pump outlet to the device to be tested, a frame return tube (124) to receive the flow of fluid from the device to be tested, and a recycle flow outlet (128). A method of testing includes connecting a device to the frame output tube and the frame return tube, pumping a fluid from the frame output tube to the frame return tube through the device, and measuring a flow rate of the fluid through the device.

  • Publication number: 20230417260
Abstract: A hydraulic system for a vehicle includes a first hydraulic pump including a first displacement actuator and a first pressure port, a first load sense system fluidly coupled to the first displacement actuator, a second hydraulic pump including a second displacement actuator and a second pressure port, a second load sense system fluidly coupled to the second displacement actuator, and a crossover pressure controller coupled between the first pressure port and the second pressure port. The crossover pressure controller reconfigurable between (a) a combined pressure configuration providing fluid communication between the first pressure port and the second pressure port and (b) a separate pressure configuration inhibiting fluid communication between the first pressure port and the second pressure port. The crossover pressure controller is actuatable independent of the first load sense system and the second load sense system.

  • Publication number: 20230166701
Abstract: Systems and apparatuses include a service brake system structured to selectively provide pressurized hydraulic fluid to a left service brake and a right service brake, and selectively output pressure to a pilot port; a hydraulic trailer brake system including a solenoid actuated intelligent brake turn actuator selectively allowing or inhibiting a flow of pressurized hydraulic fluid to a trailer brake work port; and one or more processing circuits that determine a current vehicle speed based on the information received from a wheel speed sensor, compare the current vehicle speed to a brake turn threshold speed, and actuate the intelligent brake turn actuator to inhibit the flow of pressurized hydraulic fluid to the trailer brake work port when the current vehicle speed is less than the brake turn threshold speed.
