  • Publication number: 20250005948
Abstract: Systems and methods for rapid product identification using barcode decoding and machine vision. An example scanning system includes a first imager configured to capture a first image of a first object and a second imager configured to capture a second image of a second object passing across a scanning area of an indicia reader. One or more processors are configured to analyze and decode an indicia within the first image, transmit the decoded first indicia value to a host, and store the first indicia value locally on the memory associated with the indicia reader. The processors may also determine whether the second object is substantially similar to the first object by comparing image data. The processors may also determine the second object is substantially similar to the first object and, in response, transmit the first indicia value to the host.

  • Patent number: 12167117
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting an object scan approach path and optimizing an imaging assembly in response to the scan path are provided. Image data captured from one or more fields of views is used to identify an object and determine, over a series of images, a scan path of that object relative to the imaging assembly. From the scan path, a lead-in side and a lead-out side of the imaging assembly are determined and used to adjust operating parameters of the imaging assembly to bias toward a right side scanning configuration, a left side scanning configuration, or a central scanning configuration. These operating parameters may include adjusting the wakeup, exposure, illumination, indicia identification, and scan avoidance configurations, for example, for optimum scan path operation.

  • Publication number: 20240404006
Abstract: Phased loss function training of machine learning models that are configured for performing super-resolution image processing includes training with two or more discrete phases that each apply different combinations of loss function training to the super-resolution models. In a first phase, for example, a first loss function is applied to the model that is a per-pixel or a non-perceptual loss function. In a second phase, which begins after the model reaches a threshold of convergence in the first phase, a blended loss function is applied, which includes the application of at least one perceptual loss function. Then, after the model reaches a subsequent threshold of convergence in the second phase, which is greater than the threshold of convergence in the first phase, the model is optionally further modified with optimizations such as quantization and/or sparsity optimizations for further facilitating subsequent super-resolution processing.

  • Publication number: 20240378694
Abstract: Systems are provided for generating training data from images that are obtained from image generators that are typically configured to only generate a single image per frame. The image generators are modified or otherwise controlled to generate two different images at different resolutions for each of a plurality of frames. The training data is created by pairing the low-resolution images and high-resolution images for common frames into training data set pairings. A super-resolution model is applied to the training data set pairings to create a trained super-resolution model.

  • Publication number: 20240350041
Abstract: Techniques for data analysis and user guidance are provided. One or more current measurements of one or more current analyte levels for the user are received from a sensor. A pattern is generated based on the one or more current measurements and the one or more past measurements. A first alignment with a first user target is then determined based on the pattern, where the first user target relates to one or more of a mental state or physical state of the user. A first result is output to the user, based on the determined first alignment.

  • Patent number: 12127016
Abstract: The system obtains an indication of a configuration update to perform on a component of a network and an indication of the component associated with the network. The configuration update is performed in multiple stages, including a pre-check stage, a configuration stage, and a verification stage. In the pre-check stage, the system obtains a parameter and an expected value of the parameter associated with the component. The system determines whether the component satisfies the expected value of the parameter by obtaining a value of the parameter associated with the component and comparing the obtained value to the expected value. Upon determining that the component satisfies the expected value of the parameter, the system performs the configuration stage. Upon performing the configuration update, the system performs the verification stage by testing whether the component is functioning. Upon determining that the component is functioning, the system provides the configuration update to UEs.
