In response to a detected tap such as a tap on a row or column header, the computing equipment may select and highlight a corresponding row or column in a displayed table. In response to a flick gesture in a particular direction, the computing equipment may move the selected row or column to a new position within the table. For example, if the user selects a particular column and supplies a right flick gestures, the selected column may be moved to the right edge of a body region in the table.
