    Abstract: Transformation steps including drying are incorporated into a process of additive manufacturing of a part. Processes and devices for achieving a transformation are described. A cycle of manufacturing is begun by adding a feedstock such as a metal paste to form a partial part followed by a transformation of the added feedstock, such as removing solvent from a metal paste, to form a transformed part suitable for a manipulation step such as machining. Inclusion of a manipulation process such as machining comprises a single cycle of a manufacturing process. One or more said cycles comprise the process of producing a completed part suitable for further processing such as sintering in the case of a metal paste feedstock to form a finished part.

A counter-balanced hinging mechanism has one or more pivots upon which monitor tray is configured to rotate with respect to said support stanchion. A force producing device is configured to apply a variable amount of force to the monitor tray based upon a position of the display monitor, the variable amount of force being at least a force sufficient to maintain the monitor tray stationary in an intermediate position between the operational position and the maintenance position.

A counter-balanced hinging mechanism is coupled to the second coupling end of the support stanchion and at least one monitor frame. The counter-balanced hinging mechanism has first and second arm linkage assemblies that permit the monitor frame to pivot. At least one bias member is coupled to the first and second arm linkage assembly. The at least one bias member applies a variable amount of force to maintain the monitor frame stationary in intermediate positions.
