  • Publication number: 20190180043
Abstract: A system for applying access permissions to read requests may write a file to a storage media. The file may contain data, an embedded flag, and an embedded verification datum of the embedded flag. The embedded flag may indicate an access permissions requisite for file access. The system may also receive a request to access the file from a user and retrieve an access permission for the user. The system may also compare the embedded flag to the access permission for the user to determine the user has permission to access the file. A verification datum may be calculated, and the calculated verification datum may be compared to the embedded verification datum to determine the embedded flag has not changed.

  • Patent number: 10070165
Abstract: A system and method for determining entitlement to content residing on a server. A subscriber account with a multi-channel video program distributor (MVPD) includes subscription information indicative of the services provided by the MVPD to the subscriber. A computing device operated by the subscriber sends a request for access to content controlled by the MVPD. The request is received by the MVPD and forwarded to an entitlements server. The entitlement server sends an access granted message to the MVPD when the subscriber is entitled to receive the requested content. The IP address of the subscriber computing device is used to determine whether the computing device is connected to the network via a network access device authorized by the MVPD. The “on-net” or “off-net” status of the computing device may be used to determine whether the subscriber receives the requested content and/or a quality of service level applied to the content.

  • Publication number: 20180191759
Abstract: A system for monitoring data-access behavior is provided. The system may derive a behavioral pattern based on at least one of historic data access by a user or expected data access by the user. The system may also generate a behavioral model for the user based on the behavioral pattern for the user. In response to detecting a data access activity by the user, the system may compare the data access activity to the behavioral model to determine the data access activity is unusual for the user. The system may further trigger a remediation action in response to determining the data access activity is unusual for the user.

  • Publication number: 20170331909
Abstract: A system and method for tracking and interactively displaying the distribution of online source content, comprises a computer having one or more physical processors for tracking a unique online source content item, aggregating and processing data associated with the dissemination of unique online source content, and displaying aggregated processed data representing the dissemination of unique online source content and its associated influencers. In a system and method of the present invention, the top influencers are shown as nodes of varying sizes, wherein the size is a function of how many times that influencer disseminated the source content and wherein when a user clicks on a node in the interactive display, information about the influencer is displayed to the user. The interactive display may also contain curved lines representing the paths of dissemination of the source content information and may be color-coded to represent distinct influencer networks.

  • Patent number: 9770096
Abstract: A portable table includes a table top that can be transformed into a carrying case, with a handle and a lock and can be used as a table by releasing a pair of lock clips and opening the table at its hinges. The carrying case can hold four telescopic legs, in storing slots, and a shelf on other side of the hinges. The telescopic legs can be used in a table by attaching leg nubs to slots for legs underneath the table top. Each telescopic leg nests two extendible leg pieces, held by a top and a bottom leg clamps, for height adjustment. The leg also has a leg cap at the end for providing non-slip surface. A shelf can be strapped to the telescopic legs for storing accessories by opening the two hexagonal pieces of the shelf and attaching the hooks above the top clamp.
