  • Publication number: 20240185158
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated path-based recommendation for risk mitigation are provided. An entity assessment server, responsive to a request for a recommendation for modifying a current risk assessment score of an entity to a target risk assessment score, accesses an input attribute vector for the entity and clusters of entities defined by historical attribute vectors. The entity assessment server assigns the input attribute vector to a particular cluster and determines a requirement on movement from a first point to a second point in a multi-dimensional space based on the statistics computed from the particular cluster. The first point corresponds to the current risk assessment score and the second point corresponds to the target risk assessment score. The entity assessment server computes an attribute-change vector so that a path defined by the attribute-change vector complies with the requirement and generates the recommendation from the attribute-change vector.

  • Publication number: 20240184113
Abstract: A display device includes a waveguide assembly comprising a waveguide configured to outcouple light out of a major surface of the waveguide to form an image in the eyes of a user. An adaptive lens assembly comprises a switchable waveplate assembly. The switchable waveplate assembly includes quarter-wave plates on opposing sides of a switchable liquid crystal layer, and electrodes on the quarter-wave plates in the volume between the quarter-wave plates. The electrodes can selectively establish an electric field and may serve as an alignment structure for molecules of the liquid crystal layer. Portions of the adaptive lens assembly may be manufactured by roll-to-roll processing in which a substrate roll is unwound, and alignment layers and liquid crystal layers are formed on the substrate as it moves towards a second roller, to be wound on that second roller.

  • Patent number: 11991053
Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of real-time, endpoint-specific SLA compliance evaluation in a managed network. The method includes receiving SLA definition input that indicates an SLA definition of the managed network. Responsive to detection of a trigger event, the method includes initiating a scan of endpoints including retrieval of endpoint-level state data. The method includes identifying a portion of the retrieved state data relevant to the SLA definition. The method includes aggregating the portions of the retrieved state data. The method includes determining whether the managed network is SLA compliant at an endpoint-level of granularity based on the aggregated portions. Responsive to the managed network being noncompliant, the method includes identifying a subset of endpoints failing to meet the SLA definition and implementing a product modification process to address a metric of the SLA definition and change a product to bring the first endpoint into compliance.

  • Publication number: 20240159956
Abstract: In some embodiments, a head-mounted, near-eye display system comprises a stack of waveguides having integral spacers separating the waveguides. The waveguides may each include diffractive optical elements that are formed simultaneously with the spacers by imprinting. The spacers are disposed on one major surface of each of the waveguides and indentations are provided on an opposite major surface of each of the waveguides. The indentations are sized and positioned to align with the spacers, thereby forming a self-aligned stack of waveguides. Tops of the spacers may be provided with light scattering features, anti-reflective coatings, and/or light absorbing adhesive to prevent light leakage between the waveguides. As seen in a top-down view, the spacers may be elongated along the same axis as the diffractive optical elements. The waveguides may include structures (e.g.

  • Patent number: 11974524
Abstract: A mycelium growth bed for growing a solid substrate-bound mycelium through which the mycelium composite is easily and readily removed. This is achieved through the use of a perforation layer embedded between the mycelium substrate and the mycelium composite so as to create a uniform structural weakness and thereby enhancing harvesting abilities of the ex-substrate mycelium via a greatly reduced and uniform tear strength. The perforation layer, through which the mycelium grows, allows for the gated and controlled extrusion of a matrix of colonial cells that may be easily and uniformly delaminated from the underlying mycelium substrate.

  • Patent number: 11962556
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an animated notification indicator, which may be used to provide an indication of a notification. The animated notification indicator may be less distracting than displaying the notification itself, while, compared to a static indicator, the animated notification indicator may have a higher likelihood of catching the user's attention. The indicator may be animated for a predetermined amount of time, after which it may transition to a static indicator. Interaction with the indicator may display an associated notification, perform an associated action, or present a notification preview and/or set of quick actions, among other examples. In some instances, a context associated with the user's computing device may be processed by a notification platform, and the notification may thus be determined remotely. As a result, the animated notification indicator may be presented at the user's computing device as a result of such a remote determination.
