Abstract: A system for, and method of, providing requested information to a client. In one embodiment, the system includes: (1) a core information database that contains core information gleaned from the Internet and restructured according to a predetermined taxonomy and (2) a client communications interface, coupled to the core information database, that receives a request message from a client containing a request for some of the core information, derives a database query from the request message, causes the some of the core information to be retrieved from the core information database, formats the some of the core information into a response message according to display limitations of the client and transmits the response message to the client for display thereby.

Abstract: A wireless router access point for use with a mesh network employing a mesh protocol and a point-to-multipoint network employing a point-to-multipoint protocol, and a multimedia system employing the same. In one embodiment, the wireless router access point includes a mesh access point subsystem configured to translate between a point-to-multipoint protocol and a mesh protocol to communicate with the mesh network. The wireless router access point also includes a point-to-multipoint access point subsystem configured to translate between a mesh protocol and a point-to-multipoint protocol to communicate with a user of the point-to-multipoint network.

Abstract: A communication system employable with an enterprise that provides applications for a user through a communication device, and method of operating the same. In one embodiment, the communication system includes a policy/user database that stores policies across an enterprise related to the user and the communication device for access to the applications within the enterprise. The communication system also includes a security server that authenticates access of the communication device to the applications based on the policies. The communication system also includes a control server that approves and controls access of the communication device to the applications based on authentication from the security server. The communication system still further includes an audit/traceability server that provides a record of transactions for the access by the communication device to the applications and provides an alert in real time when approval is denied.
