Patent number: 12405818Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating waveforms for application in a quantum computing device. In one aspect, a system includes a batch generator. The batch generator receives batched waveform data that includes waveform lists, where each waveform list references respective waveform data for unique waveforms in a respective experiment data set that defines a respective experiment. The batch generator further receives a subsequent experiment data set that defines a subsequent experiment. The batch generator determines, based on hardware parameter values included in the subsequent experiment data set, to expand the batched waveform data and expands the batched waveform data to include waveform data of the subsequent experiment data set. Batch instructions that are executable by waveform generator hardware cause the waveform generator hardware, upon execution, to select waveform data referenced in each waveform list and generate a waveform using the selected waveform data.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 2023Date of Patent: September 2, 2025Assignee: Google LLCInventors: Julian Shaw Kelly, Matthew Neeley

Patent number: 12378058Abstract: An insulating container having a base insulating structure and lid insulating structure that when closed, enclose an internal storage compartment. The base insulating structure has a base cavity enclosed by a base outer shell structure and a base inner wall structure. The lid insulating structure is pivotally attached to the base insulating structure and has a lid cavity enclosed by a lid outer shell structure and a lid inner wall structure. The base cavity includes a base insulating portion and the lid cavity includes a lid insulating portion. Each of the base insulating portion and the lid insulating portion include at least one vacuum insulated panel.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2021Date of Patent: August 5, 2025Assignee: YETI Coolers, LLCInventors: Roy Joseph Seiders, Christopher M. Publication number: 20240420002Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus for dynamically decoupling and performing a target unitary operation to a qubit. In one aspect, a method includes generating a control signal that implements a dynamical decoupling control sequence and applying the control signal to the qubit to dynamically decouple the qubit and perform the target unitary operation on the qubit. The target unitary operation includes a product of multiple sub-unitary operations. The dynamical decoupling control sequence includes a plurality of single qubit gates, where one or more of the single qubit gates comprise a single qubit gate that implements one or more of sub-unitary operations of the multiple sub-unitary operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 16, 2023Publication date: December 19, 2024Inventors: Kevin Satzinger, Alexandre Bourassa, Dripto Mazumdar Debroy, Kenneth William Lee, Matthew Neeley

Publication number: 20240143574Abstract: Methods and apparatus for generating waveforms for application in a quantum computing device. In one aspect, a system comprises a batch generator that receives experiment data sets defining respective experiments, each experiment data set comprising a set of waveforms defined by respective waveform data; determines unique waveforms; generates a corresponding set of respective waveform data that includes the respective waveform data for each unique waveform; generates, for each of the experiments, a waveform list that references the respective waveform data in the set of respective waveform data that corresponds to the waveforms in the set; and batch instructions that are executable by waveform generator hardware and that cause the waveform generator hardware to process each waveform list by selecting each referenced waveform data in the waveform list; and generate, in response to the selected waveform data, a waveform that is suitable for application in a quantum computing device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 26, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Julian Shaw Kelly, Matthew Neeley
