  • Publication number: 20240324676
Abstract: An aerosol generator is provided. The aerosol generator comprises an aerosol generating layer comprising aerosol generating material, a resistive heating layer configured to heat the aerosol generating material, and a support layer comprising a support. The resistive heating layer is on a first side of the support. The resistive heating layer comprises at least one of a first type of electrical contact and at least one of a second type of electrical contact. At least one of the first type of electrical contact and the second type of electrical contact is accessible from a second side of the support.

  • Publication number: 20230020470
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a non-combustible aerosol provision system and consumables and aerosol generators for non-combustible aerosol provision systems. In various implementations, the non-combustible aerosol provision system comprises a control device that includes an outer housing defining a receiving chamber, a power source and a control component, an aerosol generator coupled to the control device, and an atomizer-free consumable that includes a substrate for engagement with the aerosol generator. The consumable is configured to be removably coupled with one or both of the control device and the aerosol generator. The aerosol generator defines a vaporization chamber and is configured to heat the substrate to generate an aerosol.

  • Publication number: 20190099567
Abstract: A vapor provision device including a vaporizer for generating a vapor from a vapor precursor material for inhalation by a user; wherein the device has a length L along a length direction, a thickness T along a thickness direction which is orthogonal to the length direction, and a width W along a width direction which is perpendicular to both the length direction and the thickness direction, wherein the width W and length L are both at least twice the thickness T, and wherein a minimum radius of curvature for a peripheral edge of the device in a plane perpendicular to the thickness direction is at least 0.1 W.

  • Patent number: 9321564
Abstract: A storage container has a base having an opening and a lid for covering the opening. A lock ring is mounted on one of the base and the lid for motion between a first position and a second position. At least one lock member is formed on the lock ring. At least one stationary lock member is formed on the other one of the base and the lid. The lock member is aligned with the stationary lock member when the lock ring is in the first position such that the lock member engages the stationary lock member. The lock member is offset with respect to the stationary lock member when the lock ring is in the second position such that the lock member does not engage the stationary lock member.
