Abstract: A portable hand held boat thruster for use on a boat in a body of water. There is a hand held control unit having a switch, a power source connected to the switch, a shaft extending from the hand held control unit, a propulsion device which is connected to the switch by way of the shaft; and a bumper operably connected about the propulsion device such that when the switch is actuated in an on position, the propulsion device creates a thrust and enables the bumper to be disposed against a hull of the boat to aid in docking.
