Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer-implemented method, and associated apparatus, for printed document verification. A document to be printed will have related content data, imposition data, and finishing data, wherein the imposition data describes at least one imposition signature for the document and the finishing data describes the application of one or more finishing operations to be performed in order to produce the printed document. This data is obtained using an input device and is passed to a representation system that generates an electronic output representation of the document to be printed and finished, in accordance with the said content, imposition and finishing data. An operator can then inspect this electronic representation to check for errors that might arise.
