  • Patent number: 12064356
Abstract: An acetabular implant kit includes a first acetabular component that has an inner surface that defines a first concave profile. A second acetabular component includes an inner surface that defines a second concave profile. An instrument includes an elongated body that has a first end and a second end. A head is connected to the second end of the body and has an engagement surface. The engagement surface includes a first convex profile and a second convex profile. The first and second convex profiles are arranged along a longitudinal axis of the head and have a first radius of curvature configured to congruently engage the first concave profile of the first acetabular component. The second convex profile has a second radius of curvature configure to congruently engage the second concave profile of the second acetabular component. The first radius of curvature is different than the second radius of curvature.

  • Patent number: 11813008
Abstract: A method of bone fixation includes placing a bone plate adjacent to a lesser trochanter on a medial aspect of a femur such that at least a portion of the lesser trochanter is positioned between appendages of the bone plate, wrapping cables coupled to the bone plate about a first and second bone fragment of a proximal femur, and tightening the cables to secure the first and second bone fragments together.

  • Patent number: 11399945
Abstract: In one embodiment, the present disclosure relates to an acetabular implant system with a liner and a sleeve. The liner includes a convex outer surface shaped to correspond to an interior of an acetabular cup and has an equatorial region and a polar region. The convex outer surface includes a plurality of liner engagement features thereon. The sleeve includes an inner surface with a plurality of sleeve engagement features thereon. The inner surface of the sleeve is sized to be flush with the convex outer surface of the liner. When the sleeve is engaged with the liner, the liner engagement features engage the sleeve engagement features.
