  • Publication number: 20220006773
Abstract: Methods and systems for Internet Protocol (IP) address allocation optimization. A method includes a data collector collecting IP address information from sources of IP address inventory and an optimization controller generating a data set from the collected IP address information, minimizing IP address allocations for network components in a network using IP address allocation and IP address utilization for a network component from the data set, minimizing IP address inventory costs using IP address inventory and IP address utilization from the data set and IP address transactional costs, tracking the IP address inventory, sending configuration information to network component(s) to change respective IP address allocations based on minimized IP address allocation, sending transaction information to IP address provider(s) to change the IP address inventory based on minimized IP address inventory costs, and performing the above on a defined interval.

  • Publication number: 20210398142
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for managing transaction disputes. Techniques include accessing a transaction pattern model associated with a user account; detecting deviation of a transaction from the transaction pattern model; transmitting, based on the detected deviation, transaction data to a user device; receiving an input at the user device in response to the transmitted data; generating, based on the received input, dispute data; storing the dispute data; monitoring data extracts associated with the user account; detecting, based on the monitoring, a data extract indicating a posted state of a transaction associated with the dispute data; and updating the dispute data based on the data extract indicating the posted state.

  • Publication number: 20210379226
Abstract: A disinfectant and sanitizer canister system is disclosed. The system may include a pre-pressurized canister being pre-filled with one or more liquid cleaners and one or more propellants. The system may further include a valve sub-system including a dispensing valve and a valve control mechanism. The control mechanism may be configured to regulate the pressure of the pre-pressurized canister to cause the pre-pressurized canister to release the one or more liquid cleaners. The system may further include a dispensing sub-system configured to fluidically couple the pre-pressurized canister to the valve sub-system. The dispensing sub-system may include a dispensing member configured to dispense the one or more liquid cleaners contained within the pressurized canister. The system may further include a metering device, the metering device configured to provide a predetermined amount of pressure to dispense a predetermined metered dose of the one or more liquid cleaners.

  • Publication number: 20210367677
Abstract: A customer premises device including an optical modem including at least one upstream laser is power controlled to provide one or more reduced power levels of service in response to a detected AC input power failure, and/or in response to control commands, e.g., from an optical line terminal (OLT). The commands control the customer premises device to switch to a reduced power consumption mode of operation. During the reduced power mode one or a few lasers are powered, e.g., on an intermittent but predictable basis. During normal operation mode each of the upstream lasers are powered. One or more receiver circuits are also powered off during reduced power mode operation in some embodiments. A schedule is used in some embodiments to control when one or more upstream lasers and/or receivers are powered. In some embodiments the schedule is determined based on information provided by the OLT.

  • Publication number: 20210274333
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for premises device identification and characterization. In one embodiment, the premises devices are IoT (“internet of things”) devices having wireless interfaces, and the disclosed apparatus and methods “passively” canvass or assess a given premises as to its IoT profile, including both transparent and proxy-managed installations via a software-defined radio (SDR) device incorporated into a host device at the premises (e.g., DOCSIS modem, DSTB, wireless AP/router, or gateway). The SDR is controlled by logic operative to run on the host device (and optionally a network-side process), enabling the SDR to scan the RF environment within the premises in particular frequency bands typically associated with IoT devices and protocols. Information regarding each particular device is transmit to a network-side management process for use in populating the user's cloud-based EPG, selectively targeting advertising or other content to the premises, or yet other functions.

  • Patent number: 11102054
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating a customer premise equipment (CPE) device. A network element management system may send an alteration request to a configurable coaxial tap that cause the configurable coaxial tap to alter the characteristics of the configurable coaxial tap and/or to manipulate the radio frequency (RF) characteristics of a customer premise device (CPE) coupled to the configurable coaxial tap. The network element management system may then receive impaired operation reports from a cable modem termination system, sending an un-alteration request to the configurable coaxial tap to undo the alterations, and receive restored operation reports from the cable modem termination system. The network element management system may use any or all of the received information to generate and use modem-tap-port correlations to determine the physical location of the CPE.

  • Publication number: 20160310644
Abstract: The invention provides methods for making silicone structures, drug delivery devices and active pharmaceutical agent delivery systems and medical devices containing one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients. The invention provides silicone structures, drug delivery devices and active pharmaceutical agent delivery systems containing one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients. The silicones used in the invention are foaming silicones, which generate void-forming gases which completely volatilize during curing. The silicone structures, drug delivery devices and active pharmaceutical agent delivery systems can be of any shape or size, and are porous, and are capable of being loaded with high doses of the desired drug or drugs. The active pharmaceutical ingredients can be incorporated into the silicone prior to curing, or subsequent to curing, via a soaking process.

  • Patent number: 8454063
Abstract: A lockable keeper arm extends across an opening of a door strike housing. A pivotally mounted transmission lever releasably engages the keeper arm. A pivotally mounted release lever releasably engages the transmission lever. An actuator engages the release lever at a point between the release lever pivot and the transmission lever and drives the release lever between alternate positions in either fail-safe and fail-secure modes. The actuator engagement point may be closer to the release lever pivot point than the transmission lever engagement point. A stop limits travel of the release lever and may be positioned in alternate positions. In alternate positions, the primary lever unlocks the keeper arm when the actuator is either energized or de-energized, placing the strike in fail-safe or fail-secure modes. Magnets may be mounted inside the housing to attract metal particles. The actuator may be an electric solenoid or a motor.

  • Publication number: 20100303654
Abstract: The instant invention comprises a 12-volt water pumping system that is portable with a 12-volt DC impeller pump powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, which is recharged by either a 5-watt or 15-watt or larger solar panel. The 12-volt water pumping system is in a plastic case, which contains the battery, the pump, and the electronics. The pump is capable of pumping over 200 gallons per hour. A water pickup wand serves as the link between the water collection device and the solar rain pump. The plastic case serves to hold the mechanical and electrical operation switches.
