  • Publication number: 20230288224
Abstract: An ultrasonic wave-based indoor inertial navigation mapping method and system are disclosed. The method includes: acquiring inertial navigation data, ultrasonic data, and altitude data of a person for each step; determining a landing point position of a corresponding footstep according to the inertial navigation data and the altitude data, and connecting all landing point positions to obtain a reference trajectory; determining various initial ultrasonic map points according to the reference trajectory and the ultrasonic data for each step, where feature data of each initial ultrasonic map point is recorded and stored; acquiring current initial ultrasonic map points and current feature data corresponding to a current footstep; and comparing the current feature data with all recorded and stored feature data, and fusing the current initial ultrasonic map points with various initial ultrasonic map points with similar features by a particle filter algorithm if a preset condition is satisfied.

  • Patent number: 10913336
Abstract: A method for producing a vehicle roof for a motor vehicle may have the steps of providing of a first roof module with a frame element and of a second roof module which is frameless with respect to the first roof module. The method may further provide the step of foaming of an edge of the second roof module at a predefined position, and coupling of a rear (in relation to a longitudinal axis (L) of the vehicle roof) section of the frame element of the first roof module to the foamed edge of the second roof module, and configuring of a modular roof as a result.

  • Patent number: 10569622
Abstract: A vehicle roof having a transparent roof section and a roller blind arrangement for selectively shading or at least partially not shading the transparent roof section, the roller blind arrangement having a roller blind web which is capable of being wound up to form a roller blind reel and which is provided with a guide tape on each of its edges arranged on either side of a vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof, each guide tape being guided in a respective guide rail, which is fixed to the roof. The roller blind arrangement comprises a roller blind module which has a cross member for the roller blind reel, the cross member extending in the transverse direction of the roof, and a guide leg on either side of the vertical longitudinal center plane of the roof, the guide legs being connected to the roof-fixed guide rails from below.

  • Patent number: 9180326
Abstract: A sprinkler head including a sprinkler body with a passage for fluid and a seal mechanism sealing the passage, and a cage member. A frangible bulb extends between the cage member and the seal. A shape memory alloy element is associated with the frangible bulb and has a first configuration that fits within, about, or abutting the bulb and a second configuration at a predetermined temperature which breaks the frangible bulb releasing the fluid through the passage.

  • Patent number: 8686812
Abstract: A waveguide for transmission of data signals therealong. Data signals are typically received from and/or transmitted to a remote location and subsequently passed to or emitted from the apparatus which allows the data to be processed. The waveguide includes a channel which has a cross-sectional shape, the angular orientation of which is changed at least one point along the length of the same so as to provide a waveguide which is less sensitive to interferences. The waveguide, in one embodiment, can also include recessed portions and/or ridges along the length of the channel which ensures that the waveguide can be formed in a more reliable and controlled manner.

  • Patent number: 8200537
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, a set of API's for integrated retailers to perform standard order fulfillment operations to fulfill and return products on behalf of their clients is described. A common catalog on a software platform is intended be a flexible common hub around which many different commerce models can be implemented. Integrated retailer is one such model on which e-commerce occurs. Integrated retailers are permitted to sell product from the common catalog with another company providing back-end fulfillment. The common catalog infrastructure's pre-existing XML catalog export facility provides product information to the retailer. The Retail Web Service (RWS) provides the fulfillment functions as a REST-style web service.
