  • Patent number: 12076625
Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion having a toe portion, a heel portion, a front portion, a rear portion, a top portion, and a sole portion. A retention cavity is located at the sole portion and includes an opening and a plurality of interior side walls connected to the opening. The plurality of interior side walls define two or more ball retention areas configured to frictionally engage at least a portion of a golf ball within the retention cavity. The two or more ball retention areas are located at or proximate the opening and frictionally engage the golf ball along a ball circumference located above an equator of the golf ball. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20200154655
Abstract: A non-intrussive monitoring terminal that monitors operating states of an irrigation system and transmits related data to a remote irrigation monitoring system. The monitoring terminal may be installed on any irrigation system without connecting to the irrigation system's existing control system, electrical system, or water distribution system and includes a housing that may be attached to a water pipe or other component of the irrigation system; a sensor mounted in the housing that senses vibrations of the irrigation system and generates a corresponding sensor signal; and an electronic circuit electrically coupled with the sensor to evaluate attributes of the sensor signal to determine operating states of the irrigation system.

  • Patent number: 8976339
Abstract: A system for determining the speed and position of objects comprises a beam source, a transmit reflection device, a beam receiver, a receive reflection device, and a controller. The beam source may generate a beam. The transmit reflection device may reflect the beam at the objects and may include a plurality of transmit faces with each transmit face oriented at a different angle and operable to reflect the beam at a different height. The beam receiver may detect the beam. The receive reflection device may include a plurality of receive faces with each receive face oriented at a different angle and operable to focus the beam reflected from objects at different heights onto the beam receiver.
