  • Publication number: 20230348029
Abstract: A fender for boats formed from a flexible shell housing a bladder or coated with an air impervious material wherein the shell is constructed to entrap a volume of air. A reusable seal provides an air tight interior with air trapped within the interior using an interlocking closure seal. The shell includes clips attached to an open end to secure the closure seal. When the fender is in a deflated condition, the shell may be stored flat or rolled. When the fender is in an inflated condition, the seal is closed, trapping air in the interior of the fender. The upper edge of the shell is rolled and secured by clips to prevent unrolling. The fender induces a pressure in the fender cavity and reinforces the seal to prohibit air release. When the fender is sealed, the fender can be used to protect a boat impact, wherein the fender absorbs the impact load.

  • Publication number: 20230166693
Abstract: A windshield cowling and system for collecting and conditioning rainwater from the windshield of a vehicle and utilizing the collected fluid to replenish the fluids in a conventional windshield washer reservoir. Rainwater from the windshield cowling is directed through a leading edge to a conditioning cartridge capable of treating the fluid with a surfactant to form a mixed fluid. Hatches in the cowling allow access to the existing windshield washer fluid reservoir. The conditioning cartridge is disposable and accessible directly through the cowling.

  • Patent number: 10723324
Abstract: A system and method of collecting and conditioning rainwater and other moisture, such as dew, from a windshield of a vehicle and utilizing the collected fluid to replenish the fluids in the windshield washer reservoir. A collection funnel is positioned on a vehicle in order to collect rainwater and other moisture. Rainwater and other fluids from the collection funnel are directed to a conditioning cartridge capable of treating the fluid with a surfactant to form a mixed fluid. An anti-freeze material may also be added. The mixed fluid is directed to the pre-existing windshield washer reservoir.

  • Patent number: 10184504
Abstract: Disclosed is a canopy support arm assembly formed from a support tube having a continuous sidewall that can be cut to size at a job site. The support tube is coupled on each end by base elements having a receiver end sized for receipt of the end of the support tube and a conical shaped barrel having threads formed along an outer surface. An aperture passes through each threaded end for receipt of a threaded rod that is constructed and arranged to extend through the threaded ends and aperture using nut fasteners to provide a compression force between the elements. A first connector having a threaded receptacle engages the threaded end of the first base element, concealing one of the nut fasteners. A second connector having a threaded receptacle engages the threaded end of the second base element, concealing the other nut fastener.
