Abstract: A method for improving electronic data security including receiving a record containing personally identifiable information (PII) with at least one data field and receiving schema information. Identifying, from a structured data store, a unique identifier associated with one or more fields in the record in response to the schema information and then modifying the unique identifier to create a pseudo-identifier. Using the pseudo-identifier to query the structured data source and return the response to said querying for each record. The PII may have multiple data fields and said returning includes replacing the PII with the response to said querying. The processing of each PII may include instructions to either mask, ignore, or redact the PII based on the schema information mapping.

Abstract: Providing video content recommendations can include, in response to a selection of a video item received from a device of a first user, determining, using a processor, a first set of attributes of the video item, providing, using the processor, the first set of attributes to the device, and, in response to receiving, from the device, a second set of attributes selected from the first set of attributes, searching, using the processor, a data structure to determine a candidate video item that matches the second set of attributes. A preview of the candidate video item can be provided to the device using the processor.
