  • Publication number: 20250144728
Abstract: A circular saw plunge pipe cutter includes a main housing, a drive mechanism at least partially disposed within the main housing, a saw blade operably coupled with the drive mechanism, and a shoe slidably coupled to the main housing. The shoe includes a pipe receptacle in which a pipe is receivable. The circular saw plunge pipe cutter is adjustable between a plunge state, in which the main housing moves toward the shoe and the saw blade extends into the pipe receptacle, and a retracted state in which the main housing moves away from the shoe and the saw blade does not extend into the pipe receptacle.

  • Patent number: 12275081
Abstract: A thread-cutting die head includes a die carrier supporting thread-cutting dies for displacement in a radial direction, a cam plate coaxial with the die carrier including a plurality of cam members for engaging the thread-cutting dies and displacing the cutting dies in a radial direction in response to relative rotation between the cam plate and the die carrier, and a locking system. The locking system includes a positioning screw extending through an arcuate slot in the cam plate, a cam washer surrounding the positioning screw, and a pin threaded to the positioning screw. The locking system further includes a cam handle including a cylindrical cam portion engaged with the cam washer. Rotation of the cam handle in a first direction is configured to impart a clamping force against the cam washer to lock the rotational position of the cam plate relative to the die carrier.

  • Publication number: 20240359410
Abstract: A universal tip for an electrofusion tool including a main body configured to be electrically connected to an electrical lead of the electrofusion tool, and a contact supported by the main body being capable of transferring a voltage from the electrofusion tool to a pipe fitting. The contact is adjustable between a first configuration, in which the contact is configured to engage a first terminal having a first size, and a second configuration, in which the contact is configured to engage a second terminal having a second size that is different than the first size.

  • Publication number: 20240342813
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a reciprocating saw assembly including a saw unit. The saw unit includes a reciprocating mechanism having a reciprocating spindle to which a saw blade is attachable, a drive unit for providing torque to the reciprocating mechanism, causing the spindle to reciprocate, and an outer housing in which the drive is received. The outer housing includes a handle portion graspable by a user during a cutting operation. The reciprocating saw assembly further includes a clamping unit having a clamp housing pivotably coupled to the outer housing and a jaw movable relative to the clamp housing between a clamping position, in which the clamping unit is affixed to a workpiece to be cut, and a release position, in which the clamping unit is removable from the workpiece.

  • Publication number: 20240106210
Abstract: A cable stripping tool removes a cable jacket from a cable to expose a plurality of neutral wires, the cable stripping tool including a housing, a frame coupled to the housing, a mandrel extending from the housing and rotatable about a first axis, and a motor supported by the housing and operably coupled to the mandrel to rotate the mandrel about the first axis. The frame supports the cable stripping tool on the cable and the mandrel engages a starter wire of the plurality of neutral wires. Rotation of the mandrel by the motor winds the starter wire around the mandrel such that the cable jacket is torn by the starter wire. The cable stripping tool further includes a termination tool configured to score the cable jacket at a desired distance from an end of the cable.
