  • Publication number: 20240095442
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for automated document processing. A linked provider associated with a transaction record is identified. A submission template for the linked provider is then identified, the submission template specifying how to complete a submission using transaction data from the transaction record. Transaction data is then obtained from the transaction record. A submission is then completed based at least in part on the submission template and using the transaction data. Finally, the completed submission is then sent to a provider service associated with the linked provider.

  • Publication number: 20240047930
Abstract: A diffractive optical element, such as a plasma grating, can be made by directing two laser beams so that they overlap in a nonlinear material to form an interference pattern in the nonlinear material. The interference pattern can modify the index of refraction in the nonlinear material to produce the diffractive optical element. This diffractive optical element may be used to separate the peak of a laser pulse from light preceding the peak thereby increase the temporal contrast of a laser pulse such as a compressed laser pulse.

  • Patent number: 11873063
Abstract: Various implementations include a sports board storage device. The device includes a housing, one or more linkages, a foot, and one or more linkage members. The housing has a first prong and a second prong. The one or more linkages are pivotably coupled to the first prong. The foot is pivotably coupled to the one or more linkages. The one or more linkage members are coupled to at least one of the one or more linkages. The one or more linkage members are movable relative to the housing to cause rotation of the one or more linkages and to cause the foot to move between a retracted position and an extended position. The foot is closer to the second prong in the extended position than it is in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20220376453
Abstract: A diffractive optical element, such as a plasma grating, can be made by directing two laser beams so that they overlap in a nonlinear material to form an interference pattern in the nonlinear material. The interference pattern can modify the index of refraction in the nonlinear material to produce the diffractive optical element. A chirped pulse amplification system can stretch, amplify, and then compress a laser pulse, and the plasma grating can be used to compress the laser pulse since the plasma optic can withstand the high light intensity of the compressed pulse.

  • Publication number: 20220291429
Abstract: A diffractive optical element, such as a holographic plasma lens, can be made by direction two laser beams so that they overlap in a nonlinear material, to form an interference pattern in the nonlinear material. The interference pattern can modify the index of refraction in the nonlinear material to produce the diffractive optical element. The interference pattern can modify the distribution of plasma for the nonlinear material, which can adjust the index of refraction. A third laser beam can be directed through the diffractive optical element to modify the third laser beam, such as to focus, defocus, or collimate the third laser beam.

  • Publication number: 20190166457
Abstract: System and method for generating location-based alerts. An alert generation server communicates with official alert systems and a plurality of mobile devices operating a mobile alert application. The alert generation server receives alert data from the official alert systems and defines a plurality of alert events by extracting corresponding alert location information and assigning official alert types to the alerts in the received official alert data. The alert generation server also receives user-generated alert data defining alert events identified by mobile device users. The user-generated alert data is used to update and/or modify the defined alert events. Each alert event has a geographic region code corresponding to extracted alert location information. The mobile alert application determines, based on mobile device location data that the mobile device is within the geographic region of an alert event and generates an alert notification for that mobile device.

  • Patent number: 9919767
Abstract: Apparatus for a door for a boat's companionway hatch. The door includes a frame, a door, a drive mechanism, and a receiver. The drive mechanism moves the door between an open and closed position to selectively allow and block access to a bulkhead opening in the companionway. In the open position, the edge of the door is substantially parallel with the companionway sidewall. In the closed position the edge of the door engages the receiver and the edge is substantially parallel with the sidewall to which the receiver is attached. The drive mechanism includes a pair of struts that are driven by an actuator to move with a scissors-like motion. One end of each strut is fixed in position. The opposite end of each strut has a roller that moves within a slot, with one slot in the door and the other slot in the frame.
