    Abstract: A cutting board to cooler lid securing system is described. A cutting board includes a cutting surface and a bottom surface that includes at least two cavities. Each cavity of the at least two cavities has one or more embedded magnets and is configured to receive a magnetic protrusion of at least two magnetic protrusions mounted to a lid of a cooler. The at least two cavities and the at least two magnetic protrusions form a securing system to mechanically and magnetically secure the cutting board to the cooler.
