  • Publication number: 20150356579
Abstract: A customer-centric feedback system is described herein that focuses attempts to gather customer feedback around the customer so that business rules can be applied to more effectively manage all of the feedback events associated with the customer in a unified and logical way. If the customer just had a bad experience with the merchant's service department, it may not be a good time to ask the customer about a purchase from the merchant's sales department. By being aware of both feedback events, and the outcome of the first event, the system could delay a second survey related to the second event until it is known that the customer's problem with the first event has been satisfactorily resolved. Knowledge of both events allows the system to increase accuracy of feedback gathered for the second event by preventing dissatisfaction from the first event from bleeding over to feedback for the second event.

  • Patent number: 8538894
Abstract: A system processes product data including values for a product data record corresponding to a product style. A network interface receives a product data record over a network from a source. A memory has stored thereon computer readable instruction code, including, a rule set having rules associated with the product data record, and a processing manager to apply the rules to the product data record and determine availability of values to a venue. The processing manager includes a style identification manager to determine from among the available values a product style associated with the available values, and to make the product style available to the venue based on the rules.

  • Patent number: 8055544
Abstract: An inventory manager processes and assigns data from data records for a product in accordance with rule set that correspond to a source and venue associate with the product. The inventory manager may delete, modify, and create data within a data record. The data may be selectively made available for use by a venue based on the rule set. The inventory manager may include a style identification manager to determine a product style value for the venue based on the data currently available for possible use by the venue and on instructions and logic within the rule set.
