Publication number: 20240423161Abstract: A computer tagging system and computer-implemented method for programming a programmable component configured to be embedded in an animal, with user specified information relating to identification of the animal, in a second memory portion that is programmable to include the user specified information. A console component is communicatively coupled to a user interface and an RFID programming emitter. The console component, via the user interface, receive user entered information prescribing the user specified information relating to identification of the animal. A signal including the user specified information is transmitted from the RFID programming emitter to the programmable component located in proximity the RFID programming emitter. Responsive to receiving the transmitted signal from the RFID programming emitter, the user specified information is caused to be stored in the second memory portion of the programmable component.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 21, 2024Publication date: December 26, 2024Applicant: Unified Information Devices, LLCInventors: Matthew Ruiter, Craig Jordan

Publication number: 20240311588Abstract: A computer system and method for identifying and monitoring animals in a confined space. A tracking apparatus is provided in proximity to the confined space that defines a plurality of separate individual tracking regions for the confined space. Each of a plurality of animals to be disposed in the confined space is associated respectively with a detection component operable to identify and detect a temperature of an animal it is associated with when detected by the tracking apparatus. Data is received in a computer monitor system from a detection component when detected by the tracking apparatus in the confined space wherein the received data includes motion and temperature data relating to an animal when located in the confined space. The tracking apparatus detects multiple animals simultaneously located in an individual tracking region.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 22, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Applicant: Unified Information Devices, LLCInventors: Matthew Ruiter, Craig Jordan

Patent number: 11694043Abstract: A computer system and method for identifying and monitoring animals in a confined space. A tracking apparatus is provided having a plurality of antenna arrays in proximity to a confined space. One or more animals to be disposed in the confined space are associated with a detection component operable to identify and detect a core body temperature of an animal it is associated with when detected by the tracking apparatus. Data is received in a computer monitor system from a detection component when detected by the tracking apparatus in the confined space. The received data identifies an animal in correlation with its motion and temperature data. Real-time position and core body temperature of a detected animal is determined while the animal is disposed in the confined space by analysis of the received data in the computer monitor system.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2021Date of Patent: July 4, 2023Assignee: Unified Information Devices, LLCInventors: Matthew Ruiter, Craig Jordan
