The frame may include a floor structure for supporting the stack and an outer annular wall coupled to and surrounding the floor structure, the outer annular wall including a plurality of corners, an outer surface defining a periphery of the frame, an inner surface defining a display cavity, and a front edge that defines a display opening configured to allow the stack to pass therethrough into the display cavity. The outer annular wall may have a non-uniform thickness. The corner portions may have lower and upper portions, with the lower portions having a greater thickness than the lower portions.

Abstract: A decorative moulding assembly for a wall or ceiling in an interior space. The decorative moulding assembly may include a first moulding piece and a second moulding piece each having an ornamental front surface, a rear surface, and a channel in the rear surface and a connector for connecting the first and second moulding pieces together. The connector may include a first portion that nests within the channel of the first moulding piece and a second portion that nests within the channel of the second moulding piece. The first portion of the connector may include a U-shaped body having first and second legs that deflect inwardly towards one another as the first portion of the connector is being inserted into the first channel of the first moulding piece.

Abstract: A frame apparatus for displaying an article. The frame apparatus includes a support structure having a frame and a backer panel. A plurality of slots are formed into the backer panel that include a first slot that is elongated along a first axis that is parallel to top and bottom edges of the support structure and a second slot that is elongated along a second axis that is parallel to lateral edges of the support structure. The frame apparatus may include a hanging element for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The hanging element may be configured to be slidably coupled to the support structure such that the hanging element can slide back and forth within one of the slots while remaining coupled to the support structure. This structure enables the frame apparatus to move side-to-side along the support surface while hanging therefrom.

Abstract: A wall hanging system by which a wall décor item such as a ledge, a frame, a mantel, or the like may be mounted to and hung from a wall. The wall hanging system may include the wall décor item having a rear surface and first and second mounting channels in the rear surface. The wall hanging system may also include first and second mounting brackets that are configured to be mounted to the wall. At least one of the first and second mounting brackets may have an elongated aperture through which a fastener extends for mounting that mounting bracket to the wall. As such, the mounting bracket with the elongated aperture is able to slide side-to-side along the wall while being mounted to the wall in order to properly align the first and second mounting brackets with the first and second mounting channels of the wall décor item.

One of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a post and the other of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a cavity. The post may be inserted into an insertion portion of the cavity and then slid to a nesting portion of the cavity to lock the first mounting assembly to the second mounting assembly.

In one aspect, the frame apparatus includes an annular display frame defining a rabbet, a stack positioned in the rabbet, and a spacer assembly. The rabbet is defined by a floor and a wall, the wall including a channel. The spacer assembly may have a rigid portion and a compressible portion. The spacer assembly is positioned in the rabbet with the compressible portion of the spacer assembly extending into the channel in the wall to couple the spacer assembly to the annular display frame. The spacer assembly may also be in contact with the stack to hold the stack in the rabbet.

Abstract: An over-the-door hanging apparatus which includes a mirror apparatus having a rear surface, at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus, and at least one over-the-door hanger. The over-the-door hanger may include an elongate member, a bracket for engaging a top edge of a door, a first hook punched into the elongate member and being aligned with a first aperture formed through the elongate member, and a second hook punched into the elongate member and being aligned with a second aperture formed through the elongate member. The mirror apparatus may be slidably mounted to the at least one over-the-door hanger through slidable mating between the at least one mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and one of the first and second hooks of the at least one over-the-door hanger.

Abstract: A hanging apparatus that includes a frame that supports a display item and a bracket for purposes of hanging the hanging apparatus. The bracket may include a body portion and a mounting portion, the mounting portion facilitating coupling of the bracket to a backer panel that is part of a stack positioned in a rabbet of the frame. Thus, the mounting portion includes walls that define a mounting channel. Portions of the backer panel are positioned within the mounting channels of the bracket prior to inserting the backer panel into the rabbet of the frame. Fasteners such as turn buttons or flex tabs may be altered into a locked state to secure the stack and the bracket in the rabbet so that the frame can be hung for display of the display item.
