Abstract: A wall hanging system by which a wall décor item such as a ledge, a frame, artwork, or the like may be mounted to and hung from a wall. The wall hanging system may include a first mounting assembly that is coupled to the wall and a second mounting assembly that is coupled to the wall décor item. The first and second mounting assemblies may be engaged to mount the wall décor item from the wall. One of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a post and the other of the first and second mounting assemblies may include a cavity. The post may be inserted into an insertion portion of the cavity and then slid to a nesting portion of the cavity to lock the first mounting assembly to the second mounting assembly.

Abstract: A frame apparatus for displaying a flat article and a combined frame apparatus and flat article. In one aspect, the frame apparatus includes an annular display frame defining a rabbet, a stack positioned in the rabbet, and a spacer assembly. The rabbet is defined by a floor and a wall, the wall including a channel. The spacer assembly may have a rigid portion and a compressible portion. The spacer assembly is positioned in the rabbet with the compressible portion of the spacer assembly extending into the channel in the wall to couple the spacer assembly to the annular display frame. The spacer assembly may also be in contact with the stack to hold the stack in the rabbet.

Abstract: An over-the-door hanging apparatus which includes a mirror apparatus having a rear surface, at least one mounting element located on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus, and at least one over-the-door hanger. The over-the-door hanger may include an elongate member, a bracket for engaging a top edge of a door, a first hook punched into the elongate member and being aligned with a first aperture formed through the elongate member, and a second hook punched into the elongate member and being aligned with a second aperture formed through the elongate member. The mirror apparatus may be slidably mounted to the at least one over-the-door hanger through slidable mating between the at least one mounting element on the rear surface of the mirror apparatus and one of the first and second hooks of the at least one over-the-door hanger.

The wall hanging system may include the wall décor item having a rear surface and first and second mounting channels in the rear surface. The wall hanging system may also include first and second mounting brackets that are configured to be mounted to the wall. As such, the mounting bracket with the elongated aperture is able to slide side-to-side along the wall while being mounted to the wall in order to properly align the first and second mounting brackets with the first and second mounting channels of the wall décor item.

In one aspect, the apparatus may be an over-the-door hanging apparatus that includes a support structure, a bracket assembly detachably coupled to the support structure, and at least one accessory unit detachably coupled to the support structure. The bracket assembly includes at least one mounting element for coupling the bracket assembly to the support structure and, at least one bracket configured to engage a top edge of a door for hanging the support structure from the door. The accessory unit may include a mesh portion and a plurality of hooks, with the mesh portion being positioned adjacent to one of the lateral edges of the support structure.

Abstract: A furniture assembly and/or a mechanical coupling system for coupling furniture parts together to form an assembled article of furniture. The furniture assembly may include first and second furniture parts, each of which includes a board or other structural member and a coupler. The first furniture part may include a male coupler attached to the board and the second furniture part may include a female coupler attached to the board. The male and female couplers may be coupled together to thereby couple the first and second furniture parts together to form the assembled article of furniture. The male and female couplers may include engagement features that facilitate the coupling of the furniture parts together and to prevent them from becoming detached during normal use of the assembled article of furniture.

Abstract: A hanging apparatus that includes a frame that supports a display item and a bracket for purposes of hanging the hanging apparatus. The bracket may include a body portion and a mounting portion, the mounting portion facilitating coupling of the bracket to a backer panel that is part of a stack positioned in a rabbet of the frame. Thus, the mounting portion includes walls that define a mounting channel. Portions of the backer panel are positioned within the mounting channels of the bracket prior to inserting the backer panel into the rabbet of the frame. Fasteners such as turn buttons or flex tabs may be altered into a locked state to secure the stack and the bracket in the rabbet so that the frame can be hung for display of the display item.

Abstract: A system and a method for hanging an article from a support surface. The article may be a cabinet, such as a medicine cabinet or the like, although the system described herein may be used for hanging any type of article from a support surface such as a wall. The system uses a surface mounting element that is coupled to the support surface and a cam lock that is slidably coupled to the article to hang the article from the support surface by coupling the surface mounting element to the cam lock. Because the cam lock is slidably coupled to the article, the article can move horizontally along the support surface without separating the article from the support surface.

The cam lock is configured to be locked to the surface mounting element by rotating the cam lock about the longitudinal axis while the distal portion of the portion of the surface mounting element is located within the receiving cavity of the cam lock.

The frame apparatus also includes a hanging element for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The hanging element is configured to be slidably coupled to the support structure such that the hanging element can slide back and forth within one of the slots while remaining coupled to the support structure. This structure enables the frame apparatus to move side-to-side along the support surface while hanging therefrom.

Abstract: A cable management system includes a mounting bracket configured for mounting to a wall surface and a detached snap-on type cover member. The mounting bracket includes vertically spaced support ledges for supporting one or more cables in multiple regions of the bracket. The bracket and cover member include mating connection element protrusions which become mutually engaged to snap fit the cover to the bracket in a readily removable manner to access the cable runs. The cables are fully concealed by the cover member. In one embodiment, the bracket and cover member are configured to simulate baseboard molding in appearance and are mounted at the bottom of the wall at the interface with the floor. Coupler members complementary configured to match the profile of the cover members may be detachably coupled thereto to bridge joints or gaps between adjacent sections of cover members.
