  • Publication number: 20080131038
Abstract: A bearing arrangement for a shaft (1) in a sleeve (2) which concentrically surrounds said shaft (1) should preferably be used for a water pump, with the bearing arrangement having two cylindrical roller or needle rings (3) which roll directly on the inner periphery of the sleeve (2) and on the outer periphery of the shaft (1). Arranged between said two cylindrical roller or needle rings (3) is a ball ring which rolls in a running groove (13) on the sleeve (2) and a running groove (14) on the shaft (1). The spherical rolling bodies (12) of said ball ring (11) form, together with the running grooves (13 and 14) of the sleeve (2) and of the shaft (1), a four-point bearing.
