  • Publication number: 20240086037
Abstract: A computing device (e.g., a server, a cloud-based device, a network device, an item analysis device, etc.) may receive location information indicating a geographic location of a user device and image data captured by the user device of a listing (e.g., a menu, an event ticket, a content source, etc.) for a selectable item. The computing device may determine an entity offering the selectable item based on the location information. An intent indicator for the selectable item may be determined based on the entity and the information for the selectable item. An instruction to the user device may cause modification of the image data to indicate the intent indicator based on the intent indicator satisfying an intent threshold that defines a level at which an intent is classified as a positive intent.

  • Publication number: 20230356144
Abstract: The present application provides a process for sequestering carbon dioxide to produce a biomass containing reaction product, the process comprising the steps of: I. contacting a raw carbon dioxide-containing feedstock with an absorption or dissolution medium to form a reagent stream comprising dissolved or absorbed inorganic carbon at least in the form of HCO3- and CO32- wherein the HCO3- :CO32- molar ratio in the reagent stream is at least about 0.8; II. contacting at least a portion of the reagent stream with a microbial broth in a bioreactor to produce a biomass-containing reaction product; III. separating the biomass-containing reaction product into a biomass product and a liquid stream; and IV. recycling at least a portion of the liquid stream to step i. of the process for use as, or as part of, the absorption or dissolution medium, wherein the pH of the absorption or dissolution medium is controlled to maintain the HCO3- :CO32- molar ratio in the reagent stream at least about 0.8.

  • Patent number: 10662639
Abstract: A method for erecting a wall panel without wasting valuable floor area for wall panel bracing and erecting the wall panel from within the boundary of the land parcel on which the wall panel is being erected is disclosed. A support structure that is configured to both maintain a prestressed concrete wall panel in a generally vertical position and to provide storage space can be anchored to a floor slab. The wall panel can be lifted from within the land parcel and positioned between the support structure and the boundary of the land parcel. The wall panel can then be anchored to the support structure.

  • Publication number: 20190100305
Abstract: Systems including tethers with one or more attached airfoil tails are described. Some systems include reversibly deformable struts that attach the tails to a tether to allow for stretch of the tether when the tether is under tension. The form of the tails may vary along the length of the tether to account for different aerodynamic design considerations.

  • Publication number: 20180025459
Abstract: A method and system for the collection of supplier performance data and the identification of out-of-control conditions, shifts, and trends. Supplier performance data is collected by a plurality of businesses (customer businesses) on an electronic business network using a centralized web application and server. Once the web application saves the supplier performance data, computer code on the server statistically analyzes the data to identify statistically significant out-of-control conditions, shifts, and trends. If the computer code identifies an out-of-control condition, shift, or trend in a supplier's performance, the computer code notifies all of said supplier's customers within the electronic business network. The present invention increases supply chain visibility beyond a single customer business thereby improving supply chain performance and reducing supply chain risk.

  • Patent number: 5894078
Abstract: A transgenic mouse whose genome comprises a DNA sequence encoding the carboxy-terminal 100 amino acids of the human .beta.-amyloid precursor protein C-100 APP) inserted into exon I of the neurofilament gene such that all or part of exon I has been deleted is disclosed. Expression of the nucleic acid sequence is under the control of neurofilament L-gene regulatory region. The mouse as a result of the expression exhibits a brain morphology of an increased amyloid accumulation, and increase in reactive astrocytes, an increased microglial activation and a decreased number of neurons, and also exhibits spatial memory impairment.
