In one embodiment, a companion mobile application is disclosed that provides a secondary accountholder access to a subset of information relating to the primary accountholder's account. Updates to the primary accountholder are provided to the companion mobile application such that the secondary accountholders have access to current account information without having to provide credentials relating to the primary accountholder. In certain embodiments, updates to the account are transferred from a first mobile device including the primary mobile application to a second mobile device including the companion mobile application.
