  • Patent number: 10634376
Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, comprising: an indoor HVAC unit configured to operate a first HVAC zone in accordance with an HVAC control signal; at least one piece of environmental equipment configured to control at least one environmental parameter in accordance with at least one environmental control signal; and an HVAC adapter configured to receive operational parameters over a communication network at system setup, provide the at least one environmental control signal to the at least one piece of environmental equipment.

  • Patent number: 10422541
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of controlling an operational mode of an outdoor unit connected to a plurality of indoor units, the method including: determining an operational mode of an outdoor unit; determining, at a master decision unit, a target outdoor mode for the outdoor air-conditioning unit based on the priority, the current area mode, the current area temperature, and the set point for each of the indoor units, the maximum actual standby duration and the maximum allowable standby duration of each of the indoor units, and the minimum active duration and the current active duration for the outdoor unit; and systematically controlling the operational mode to become the target outdoor mode when the target outdoor mode is different from the operational mode.

  • Patent number: 10104549
Abstract: A system and method for provisioning multiple devices including a commissioning device, one or more endpoints, and a server. The system and method includes the following. The commissioning device accepts user-input network credentials of a wireless network from a user. The commissioning device searches for one or more endpoints unconnected to the wireless network. The commissioning device then verifies the ownership of the one or more endpoints. In response to a positive verification, the commissioning device securely the network credentials to the one or more endpoints. After receiving the network credentials, the one or more endpoints verify the integrity and authenticity of the communication from the commissioning device. After the one or more endpoints verifies the communication, the one or more endpoints access the wireless network based on the securely transferred wireless credentials.

  • Patent number: 8510723
Abstract: A binary rewriter that can provide complete code coverage without relocation information is provided, together with a method of performing such rewriting. The method can include processing a binary file as an original binary file. The method can also include disassembling the binary file to provide a disassembled binary file. The method can further include rewriting the disassembled binary file without relocation information to provide a rewritten binary file. The rewriting can provide a physical transformation in a recording medium relative to the binary file in the recording medium prior to the rewriting. The processing the binary file, disassembling the binary file, and rewriting the disassembled binary file can be performed by a particular machine.
