  • Publication number: 20240289756
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a payment instrument, such as a payment card or a client device, that interfaces with multiple central bank digital currency (CBDC) networks associated with different countries and territories. In one non-limiting example, the system comprises a computing device that is configured to detect a location of a client device being outside of a territorial area for a first CBDC blockchain network and receive an authorization request from a merchant system for a purchase of an item. A token associated with the authorization request is identified and associated with the client device. The computing device determines that the token is authorized for use with a blockchain address for a second CBDC blockchain network for the purchase. A CBDC blockchain transfer is generated and the CBDC blockchain transfer is transmitted to the second CBDC blockchain network.

Abstract: A farming machine is configured to identify and treat plants in a field. The farming machine includes one or more light sensors for measuring a characteristic of light. The one or more light sensors are coupled to the farming machine and are directed a substantially upwards orientation away from the plants. A control system adjusts settings of an image acquisition system based on a characteristic of light measured by the one or more light sensors. The image acquisition system captures an image of a plant using one or more image sensors coupled to the farming machine, the one or more image sensors directed in a substantially downwards orientation towards the plants. The control system identifies a plant in the image and actuates a treatment mechanism to treat the identified plant.

  • Patent number: 12058188
Abstract: A network address translation (NAT) gateway intercepts packets and determines whether they contain multicast domain name server (mDNS) query or response messages. Upon receiving an mDNS message, the NAT gateway performs address translation to assign a new source address and stores the original source address in a translation table. The NAT gateway then forwards the message to all adjacent networks in order to expand the reach of the packet. If the mDNS messages establish a new client-server connection, the NAT gateway brokers the connection by either acting as a proxy or continuing to perform network address translation.

  • Publication number: 20240257092
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of methods and systems for central bank digital currency (CBDC) facilitated micropayments. In at least some embodiments, a system can receive an authorization request for a purchase, the authorization request can include a total transaction amount. The system can identify a payment token associated with the authorization request and obtain a plurality of payee wallet addresses. The system can then receive a transaction amount for each of the plurality of payee wallet addresses, such that a sum of the transaction amounts for the plurality of payee wallet addresses is equal to the total transaction amount. The system can then generate a CBDC transfer for each of the plurality of payee wallet addresses using a private key based at least in part on an authorization for the payment token to use a blockchain address, each CBDC blockchain transfer comprising a digital signature and transmit each of the CBDC blockchain transfers for the purchase to a CBDC blockchain network.

  • Patent number: 12042628
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for detecting remaining battery voltage or capacity in an infusion device and generating alarms based on the detection. The battery lifetime extension method includes providing an infusion device that derives its power from a rechargeable battery. The infusion device may derive its power from a rechargeable battery. Furthermore, the infusion device receives, at predetermined intervals of time in real-time sensor data comprising: a voltage, a change in the voltage over the predetermined interval of time, an average current, a temperature, and a remaining voltage or capacity reported by a battery gas gauge integrated circuit (“IC”) associated with the rechargeable battery. An improved and customized neural network model utilizes the sensor data to determine an indicia of the actual remaining voltage or capacity of the rechargeable battery in real-time. The indicia may be used to lengthen and/or abate ongoing medical infusion therapy.

In at least some embodiments, a system can receive a first request to exchange central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) within a collateral account from a first CBDC denomination to a second CBDC denomination. The system can then obtain, from a market application, an exchange rate that can be used to calculate an exchange between the first CBDC denomination and the second CBDC denomination. The system can identify a first amount of the first CBDC denomination within the collateral account and calculate a second amount of the second CBDC denomination. The system can obtain the second amount of the second CBDC denomination and credit the second amount of the second CBDC denomination to the collateral account. The system can also debit the first amount of the first CBDC denomination from the collateral account.
