  • Patent number: 12339854
Abstract: Techniques are provided for generating and maintaining Precomputed Result Tables (“PRTs”) that are used by a database server to improve performance of SPARQL queries that target an RDF graph set. Each PRT corresponds to a particular pattern, which may be simple-triple, star, or chain. The techniques support the creation of PRTs for chain patterns that contain multiple instances of the same property, and PRTs for star and chain patterns that include reverse properties. Techniques are also described for maintaining such PRTs as Data Manipulation Language (DML) operations make changes to the RDF graph tables that belong to the RDF graph set associated with the PRTs.

  • Patent number: 12322940
Abstract: A tool has a first gripping portion or arm and a second gripping portion or arm hingedly connected to the first gripping portion. The first and second gripping portions define a cable space therebetween sized to receive a cable. A first lever arm and a second lever arm extend from the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion, respectively. A flexure is arranged between the first lever arm and the second lever arm and biases the first and second lever arms into a predetermined position.

  • Publication number: 20250174953
Abstract: The subject matter herein includes a method for assembling a coaxial cable connector, a crimping tool for assembling a coaxial cable connector, and a coaxial cable connector. The subject matter includes crimping an inner ferrule onto an exposed braid of the coaxial cable, folding back an exposed braid of the coaxial cable over the inner ferrule, and crimping an outer contact onto the folded-back exposed braid, wherein the outer contact has distinct constrictions of reduced diameter in predetermined functional zones to reduce elongation of the outer contact and compression of the cable. This subject matter reduces the need for multiple terminal components, streamlines the assembly process, and ensures reliable mechanical and electrical connections for diverse applications.

  • Patent number: 12301039
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and devices for controlling charging of vehicles, to avoid charging during charge-adverse time periods or during charge restriction events. This can advantageously reduce cost to vehicles owners, and or provide access to reward incentives. Further, power distribution entities (utility providers) advantageously have increased control over power distribution to avoid over-burdening of power distribution infrastructure. Further, systems and methods for determining or inferring whether a vehicle is connected to a charge station are described, which can be used to inform automatic restriction of vehicle charging.

  • Publication number: 20250143591
Abstract: Techniques and systems include predicting various health conditions using a photoplethysmography (PPG) signal or a video signal based on images of a patient's fingertip or other body portion captured using a mobile device. The video signal may be transformed into a pseudo PPG signal to measure blood volume changes in the patient's blood flow to derive data indicating a disease state or health-related characteristic, such as blood oxygen level, blood glucose level, heart rate variability, hemoglobin, respiration rate, or arrhythmia. Techniques involve real-time environment assessment and problematic issue detection, training an artificial intelligence (AI) model to measure signal quality so as to select high-quality signals from a range of signals, and domain adaption and transfer learning to make use of publicly available datasets.

  • Publication number: 20250127514
Abstract: A system and method for treating heart failure of a patient by occluding blood flow from the azygos vein to the superior vena cava while allowing blood to flow through a shunt from the right pulmonary artery to the azygos vein. The system can include an occluder with an expandable cage positioned in the azygos vein to selectively control the flow of blood to the superior vena cava. The occluder can expand and collapse based on pressure measurements received from implanted pressure sensors.

  • Publication number: 20250128030
Abstract: Disclosed are a catheter-based “kissing balloon” systems and methods of connecting blood vessels or creating an access path between blood vessels. The system includes a first delivery or passing catheter in a first vessel and a second receiving catheter in a second vessel that cooperate to create a path between the vessels. A passing catheter balloon is arranged to mate with or “kiss” a receiving catheter balloon to align the vessels before a piercing element is extended to puncture both vessels and optionally puncture a balloon. A guidewire is delivered through a lumen of the piercing element, and a distal end of the guidewire is trapped in a cage of the receiving catheter. The guidewire can then be used to deliver additional implanted devices while the passing catheter, receiving catheter, or both are removed.

Abstract: An information retrieval method for cloud service administration is provided. The method may include establishing a connection with a semantic database. In some embodiments, the semantic database is configured to store information for different cloud services, and the information includes information regarding a first cloud service and information regarding a second cloud service. In some embodiments, the information regarding the first cloud service includes a first entity information and the information regarding the second cloud service includes a second entity information. The method further includes transmitting to the semantic database a request to obtain information regarding an asset. • Publication number: 20240430248
Abstract: A data processing system implements receiving a request for an access token from a web-based nested application hosted by a native application, creating a secure authentication channel between the first web-based nested application and the native application that bypasses one or more intermediary nested applications to prevent the one or more intermediary nested applications from accessing data exchanged between the first web-based nested application and the native application; sending the request for the access token to the native application via the secure authentication channel; obtaining the access token from a token service on a remote server over a network connection; providing the access token to the first web-based nested application via the secure authentication channel; sending a request to access the content on the resource server and the access token to the resource server; and performing one or more actions on the content on the resource server.

  • Patent number: 12172297
Abstract: A mechanical hand mimics a human hand having similar degrees of freedom and sensory abilities while appearing visually similar to human hand. The mechanical hand comprises a mechanical hand skeleton and resilient elastomer (e.g., silicone) skin that fully encloses the mechanical hand skeleton. The mechanical hand skeleton may advantageously be molded directly into the resilient elastomer (e.g., silicone) skin such that the hand appears, moves, and feels very similar to a real human hand. The mechanical hand may have applications in robotics, for example as an end-of-arm tool or end effector, or may have other applications. Robotic applications may include prosthetics applications.
