  • Patent number: 10779713
Abstract: The instant disclosure provides for medical imaging systems that may be used in conjunction with an intraoperative medical device, such as an endoscope. Generally, the disclosed medical imaging systems include an illumination source configured to generate illuminating photons for illuminating a biological sample. An optical signal modulator is configured to separate one or more of the illuminating photons and photons that have interacted with the biological sample into a first optical signal having first multi-passband wavelengths and a second optical signal having second multi-passband wavelengths. At least one detector is configured to detect one or more of the first optical signal and the second optical signal and generate at least one image data set. A processor is configured to analyze the at least one image data set. In some embodiments, the processor is configured to differentiate between structures of the biological sample, such as between an ureter and surrounding tissue.

  • Patent number: 10701296
Abstract: A camera system and methods of enhancing images using direct measurement of angular displacement are disclosed. The camera system includes an optical element, a focal plane array (FPA), a motion sensor and a processor. The FPA has pixels sensing image pixel data from the optical element. The pixels have an angular resolution dependent upon a configuration of the optical element and a dimension of the pixels. The pixels detect electromagnetic waves having a wavelength within a range from 800 nanometers to 20 micrometers. The motion sensor senses angular displacement in 3D. The processor receives the image pixel data generated at distinct first instants of time during an image capture period from the FPA and motion reading(s) during the image capture period, converts the motion readings into angular displacement of the FPA, and selects an image processing algorithm to generate at least one image enhancement for the image pixel data.

  • Patent number: 10697214
Abstract: A latch that is waterproof or water-resistant so as to resist the entry of water through the latch. The latch can be a slam latch having a pawl with a shaft. A sealing element, for example, a collar and/or an O-ring, can be placed around the shaft of the pawl to resist water from entering through the latch. The pawl can also enclose the cavity in which the latch handle is maintained so water cannot enter through the cavity. Other measures, such as a gasket and selective welding, can also be implemented to improve the water-resistance of the latch.

  • Patent number: 10645709
Abstract: A packet data transmission system comprises primary stations (PS) having signal transmitting and receiving means and antennas (PA1 to PA4) for propagating downlink signals and receiving uplink signals and a plurality of secondary stations (SS) able to roam within the coverage areas of the primary stations. Each secondary station (SS1) has signal transmitting and receiving means, a predetermined number of antennas (SA1 to SA4), and means for monitoring its radio environment. Information about the radio environment is relayed as an uplink signal to the respective primary station which modifies its mode of transmission of packet data signals. The secondary station in response to the modified mode of transmission of the downlink signals adapts its receiver resources to process the packet data signals and effect cancellation of any interference.
