    Abstract: A cutterhead for shaping materials. The cutterhead includes a substantially cylindrical body with at least one helically-shaped recess defining a helically-shaped projecting surface having a cutting side and multiple seats positioned along the projecting surface. The seats receive removable cutting blades and include a planar seat surface. The seat surfaces are oriented to appropriately align the projecting blade edge of the blade to a helical angle. In addition, the seats include a connection arrangement for removably attaching the blade.
