  • Publication number: 20180376193
Abstract: Examples associated with frame transmission are disclosed. One example includes periodically transmitting frames captured from a video feed by a mobile device to a remote server. These frames are periodically transmitted at a first interval. A triggering motion of the mobile device is detected. Frames captured from the video feed by the mobile device are then periodically transmitted to the remote server at a second interval. The second interval is faster than the first interval.

  • Patent number: 9689858
Abstract: A method for determining an asphaltene onset condition of a crude oil is provided. The method includes receiving a crude oil within a downhole tool inside a well and taking a first measurement of an optical property of the received crude oil. The method also includes lowering the pressure or temperature of the crude oil after taking the first measurement of the optical property to cause aggregation of asphaltenes in the crude oil, and then separating aggregated asphaltenes from the crude oil. Further, the method includes taking a second measurement of the optical property of the crude oil within the downhole tool after separating aggregated asphaltenes from the crude oil and determining an asphaltene onset condition of the crude oil through comparison of the first and second measurements of the optical property. Additional methods, systems, and devices are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9420117
Abstract: Call detail records (CDRs) that are generated by different elements of an IP telephony system in connection with the same communication can be matched to one another using timing information contained in the CDRs. Other information in addition to timing information, and which is present in two CDRs relating to the same communication may be used in conjunction with timing information to match CDRs from the same communication. Also, information relating to the type of flow path that a communication follows through the elements of an IP telephony system may also be recorded in a final CDR that is created for each communication.

  • Patent number: 9051488
Abstract: Multifunctional primer formulations are disclosed for composite building materials, such as materials that are generally cementitious, gypsum, or of another inorganic building material, including those containing cellulose, glass, steel or polymeric fibers. The multifunctional primer formulations provide multifunctional action to the primer including an ability to function as a primer and sealer in only a single coating. Such formulations when applied to a suitable substrate provide excellent adhesion to the substrate and improve paint adhesion and performance when applied thereto. Superior properties over commercial products is particularly notable when the formulations herein are applied to substrates, such as fiber cement, that have been manipulated or sized by cutting (e.g., by saw or water jet), sanding, punching, and/or shearing.

  • Publication number: 20140369237
Abstract: Method and apparatus facilitate visually depiction of a flow path of a telephony communication which is processed through plural elements of an Internet protocol (IP) telephony system. The method comprises determining the plural elements involved in processing the telephony communication; obtaining, for each of the plural elements, at least one respective indication of time at which the respective plural element processed the telephony communication; and, generating a visual display formatted to comprise representations of the plural elements connected based on the respective time indications to depict the flow path. The respective indication of time may comprise a time stamp generated by the respective plural element at a time when the respective plural element processed the same communication. The method may further optionally comprise sending a query to the particular element associated with the Global Identifier to obtain information related to the flow path.
