The system includes a source of navigation display data and an image control module. The image control module generates image data from the navigation display data based on a position of the mobile platform. The image data includes at least one first navigation display data at a first opacity and at least one second navigation display data at a second opacity. The second opacity is computed based on the position of the mobile platform. The system also includes a display device disposed within the mobile platform that displays the image data.
