  • Publication number: 20250241299
Abstract: To reduce fine particles and improve droplet size distribution, an agrochemical spray includes an aqueous solution having one or more active ingredients and a drift reduction adjuvant formulation, which form a spontaneous emulsion. The drift reduction adjuvant formulation includes a hydrophobic solvent, a high molecular weight polymer dissolved in the solvent, and one or more surfactants to facilitate the emulsion. When sprayed onto a target crop, the high molecular weight polymer increases the extensional viscosity of the agrochemical spray compared to a formulation without the high molecular weight polymer.
