  • Patent number: 10812472
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for implementing tiered authentication using position based credentials. In one implementation, a system for associating two user interface devices to provide position-based authentication for a user may include one or more memories storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving a first identity associated with a first user interface device, receiving a second identity associated with a second user interface device, receiving credentials associated with the user, receiving a distance threshold, and establishing a credentialing association between the first identity and the second identity based on the credentials and the distance threshold.

  • Publication number: 20200320006
Abstract: An apparatus includes a CPU core, a first memory cache with a first line size, and a second memory cache having a second line size larger than the first line size. Each line of the second memory cache includes an upper half and a lower half. A memory controller subsystem is coupled to the CPU core and to the first and second memory caches. Upon a miss in the first memory cache for a first target address, the memory controller subsystem determines that the first target address resulting in the miss maps to the lower half of a line in the second memory cache, retrieves the entire line from the second memory cache, and returns the entire line from the second memory cache to the first memory cache.

  • Patent number: 10794026
Abstract: An apparatus manages a dock, a portion of which is disposed over a body of water, from a remote device. A control unit is disposed on the dock. A plurality of sensors is each in data communication with the control unit. Each of the plurality of sensors includes: an electric shock sensor; a water level sensor that senses a distance to the water from a predetermined location of the dock; and a theft detection circuit. A communication chipset is in data communication with the control unit. The control unit includes a processor that is programmed to transmit to the remote device via the communication chipset an indication of the following: a shock likelihood sensed by the electric shock sensor; a level detected by the water level sensor; and an alert when the theft detection circuit detects a likelihood of theft.

  • Patent number: 10766764
Abstract: A microelectromechanical system (MEMS) sensor includes a MEMS layer that includes fixed and movable electrodes. In response to an in-plane linear acceleration, the movable electrodes move with respect to the fixed electrodes, and acceleration is determined based on the resulting change in capacitance. A plurality of auxiliary electrodes are located on a substrate of the MEMS sensor and below the MEMS layer, such that a capacitance between the MEMS layer and the auxiliary loads changes in response to an out-of-plane movement of the MEMS layer or a portion thereof. The MEMS sensor compensates for the acceleration value based on the capacitance sensed by the auxiliary electrodes.

  • Patent number: 10732196
Abstract: A microelectromechanical (MEMS) accelerometer senses linear acceleration perpendicular to a MEMS device plane of the MEMS accelerometer based on a rotation of a proof mass out-of-plane about a rotational axis. A symmetry axis is perpendicular to the rotational axis. The proof mass includes a symmetric portion that is symmetric about the symmetry axis and that is contiguous with an asymmetric portion that is asymmetric about the symmetry axis.

  • Patent number: 10667940
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods correction of spinal deformity that overcome current limitations by utilizing a dynamic, multi-segment torso orthosis that allows motion during wear. The disclosed embodiments utilize a series of elastically coupled segments that conform to the circumference of the torso of a patient. Adjustable elastic coupling mechanisms are utilized to create and alter forces and moments that are applied to the torso through the segments. These elastic coupling mechanisms also allows each circumferential segment to move relative to the other segments giving the brace dynamic capability.

  • Publication number: 20200097950
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for generating digital tokens corresponding to determined generated real-world assets in a consensus-based authorization framework. In various embodiments, a client device coupled to a real-world asset generating device can determine that a real-world asset has been generated, and based on the determination, generate a request transaction for a digital token corresponding to the determined generated real-world asset. The request can be stored on a distributed ledger so that privileged entities can determine that the request is pending approval. Privileged client devices associated with the privileged entities can then generate approval transactions for generating the digital token corresponding to the determined generated real-world asset.

  • Publication number: 20200089622
Abstract: A system comprises a processor including a CPU core, first and second memory caches, and a memory controller subsystem. The memory controller subsystem speculatively determines a hit or miss condition of a virtual address in the first memory cache and speculatively translates the virtual address to a physical address. Associated with the hit or miss condition and the physical address, the memory controller subsystem configures a status to a valid state. Responsive to receipt of a first indication from the CPU core that no program instructions associated with the virtual address are needed, the memory controller subsystem reconfigures the status to an invalid state and, responsive to receipt of a second indication from the CPU core that a program instruction associated with the virtual address is needed, the memory controller subsystem reconfigures the status back to a valid state.

  • Patent number: 10571268
Abstract: A MEMS sensor includes a MEMS layer, a cap layer, and a substrate layer. The MEMS layer includes a suspended spring-mass system that moves in response to a sensed inertial force. The suspended spring-mass system is suspended from one or more anchors. The anchors are coupled to each of the cap layer and the substrate layer by anchoring components. The anchoring components are offset such that a force applied to the cap layer or the substrate layer causes a rotation of the anchor and such that the suspended spring-mass system substantially remains within the original MEMS layer.

  • Publication number: 20190349373
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a system and method of verifying an identity of user. A computing system receives a HTTP request. The HTTP request includes at least a user name and an IP address associated with a router accessed by the remote client device. The computing system parses the HTTP request to extract the user name and the IP address contained therein. The computing system identifies a user account associated with the extracted user name. The computing system identifies an internet service provider associated with the IP address. The computing system transmits a verification message to the third party service provider. The computing system receives a confirmation message from the third party service provider. The computing system increases a level of confidence in an identification verification process based on the confirmation.

  • Publication number: 20190321126
Abstract: Systems, methods and software are provided for aiding in positioning of a camera relative to objects in a surgical environment. The camera has a 3D field of view and senses positions of the objects in the field of view. A controller is coupled to the camera and defines a first zone and a second zone within the field of view. Each zone defines a range of acceptable positions for one of the objects relative to a position of the camera. The controller receives the position of the objects. A graphical user interface displays image representations of: the field of view, the first zone relative to the field of view, the second zone relative to the field of view, the position of one object relative to the first zone, and the position of another object relative to the second zone.
