Abstract: A flexible packaging system for containing, storing, preserving, and transporting agricultural biomass, such as cannabis or hemp, including an outer shell and an inner liner nested within the outer shell. The inner liner is made of a liquid and gas impermeable material, in which the inner liner defines an interior space and includes a fillable opening through which the biomass is loaded and also includes a two-way sealable spring valve, which allows the controlled passage of gases into and/or out of the interior space, allowing the biomass contained therein to be surrounded only by inert gas, such as nitrogen for up to several months. Containing biomass within the disclosed flexible packaging system maintains the moisture content of the biomass and also prevents the cannabinoid levels from degrading over time.

Abstract: The present invention provides a seat system for a vehicle and method of manufacturing the same. The seat system includes a seat foam pad having a headrest portion and a backrest portion. A structural support member is included that is formed of a foam material that is substantially enclosed by the headrest portion and the backrest portion. The seat system also includes a seat frame having the seat foam pad and the foam block adjacent thereto, wherein the seat foam pad and the structural support member enable the seat system to meet a predetermined structural requirement.

Abstract: A stowable seat assembly is provided for use with a vehicle having a floor and a recess formed therein. The assembly includes a seat and a pivot tube adapted to be secured to the vehicle floor, with the seat being operatively pivotal about the pivot tube between a first, collapsed position and a second, stowed position with the seat being at least partially stowed within the vehicle recess. The seat passes through a third, upright position intermediate the first and second positions as the seat is pivoted between the first and second positions. The assembly further includes a torsion rod mounted on the pivot tube and free to twist, with the torsion rod being operatively coupled to the seat during pivoting of the seat toward and away from the third, upright position.
